Wow. This  was a nice read and Im really interested in this deck.
I just started started with EDH and luckly my old cube as some of the higher end cards listed here.

Volrath's Stronghold & Yawgmoth's Will seems really nice but bit too pricey for my to "try".
I may have missed it but you dont seem to run any other "retrieve from GY" cards. Is this something the deck can live without and just replace with other "Ramp/Card Value".
Seems kinda worth having a GY fetch in a format with only singles?
