Hey Jan,
Thank you for that information, its really good! What happened is that I played a list early on with both
Rally the Ancestors and
Return to the Ranks, and since
Pawn of Ulamog is recurrable with
Rally I got mixed up when I tried to include it in this list. I also didn't know the ruling for the tokens, thank you for the game knowledge! I'll take it out since it isn't that worth it with those problems, even if it does get better with
Rally the Ancestors in the list.
Speaking of
Rally the Ancestors, I'm glad you brought it up! I played it back when I first tried playing this list and came to a few conclusions. It was pretty essential when
splinter twin was unbanned since you needed to be able to combo in response, but now that there isn't very much combo in the game I'm not sure if it retains a slot in the deck. When I look at what to take out, it pretty much has to be the
collected company's, but taking out the companys just makes the deck rely more heavily on the graveyard, which might just be a
weakness of the deck but I try to mitigate with a little bit of topdeck searching in the companys. Plus, if pawn is taken out and
satyr wayfinder put back in that just means the deck is absolutely locked in for graveyard recursion and is pretty weak to grafdiggers cage. Honestly there isn't much to be done against
rest in peace, but the other graveyard hate cards can be played around in deckbuilding and probably should be imo. But that is just my opinion, and the benefits of a synergistic list around the grave might just be worth the extra
weakness.
I agree that
matter reshaper is poor in the list, I just included its suggestion for all of the brewers out there.
Happy brewing!
