Deck Reviews / Re: [Modern] 20 Eldrazis on turn 3

Thanks! I like Muddle the Mixture, but it would only be useful in getting Pili-Pala because of the 2 cmc.

And honestly, enter the infinite isn't used often. It's really only useful if I don't get Spawnsire by the time grand architect and Pili-Pala are out.

20 Eldrazis on turn 3

Turn 1: Land, Bird

Turn 2: land, Pili-Pala

Turn 3: land, Grand Architect. Tap bird for blue for Grand Architect's ability, tap Pili-Pala for 2 mana, use that mana to untap Pili-Pala and add 1 mana. Do this repeatedly for Spawnsire of Ulamog. Then again for the 20 mana needed for Spawnsire's second ability and cast all 15 Eldrazis from the sideboard. The Desolation Twins give another four 10/10s, and Emrakul, The Aeons Torn gives another turn.

So far this deck has been consistent in getting out all Eldrazis by turn 3 or 4. Let me know what you think.

Swell of growth might be useful! Thanks!

I don't want to get too much going on the deck, because I don't want more cards to get in the way of my win-con. I tried to add some counter spell stuff and card advantage, to help speed the deck along and buy myself some extra time. I was considering adding Silence too, in case of a fog or something, but so far it's been working fast enough that I haven't needed it.

Junkyard Knights

Knight of the Reliquary + Retreat to Coralhelm combo.

In playtesting, it's consistently been hitting the win-con by turn 4-5. I'm pretty pleased with how it's turned out :)

Oooh, Break Through The Line is a good one for it!

Here's a new edited version! https://deckstats.net/decks/6295/350052-gazorpazorpdeck

It runs smoother now in the first 3-4 turns while my mana base is building up.

I really like the Griffins because they get bigger when I'M dealt damage. For instance, if I don't block a big attack and say I take 10 damage off my life total, then I got a 12/12 flyer I can throw Unflinching Courage on and gain it all back.
So far, playtesting has gone really well on tappedout, but of course it's hasn't playtested against other decks yet. I'm think I'm going to go ahead and buy it out of my next paycheck. And play it against some of my other decks, that's when I can really start fine tuning it.

Lord of Shatterskull Pass would be a cool addition. To get him up to level 6 you're looking at 16 mana invested in him. You can get him out on t4 then it would take 3 turns to get him pumped to where you need him. Terminate is good that it protects against regeneration, but Dreadbore gives you that extra option of getting rid of a planeswalker without wasting an attack on it.

Minotaur decks are fun!
My suggestion would be to max out your deck slots for the minotaurs that are helping all your others like Felhide Petrifier and Rageblood Shaman. Also adding Mogis, God of Slaughter can really help pick off an opponents defense. Boros Reckoner is pretty cool, you won't need white to cast him or use his ability, and as long as he's untapped it makes the opponent less likely to attack with big damage. A couple Dreadbore could really help too. You don't really have anything other than beasty creatures to deal with planeswalkers, Dreadbore can help get rid of nasty fliers too. And maybe something like Read the Bones to give card advantage.

I hope any of this is helpful! All in all its a decent deck.

Master Biomancer + Progenitor Mimic is dope!
Another great Simic option that's hard for opponents to keep up with is Prophet of Kruphix and Momir Vig, Simic Visionary. With those two out on the battlefield you can pretty much cycle what you need to your hand and take another turn on your opponents turn.
Favor of the Overbeing is helpful against decks with flyers, or decks without flyers its helps get mad damage through their defenders.
And Bioshift is super cheap and helpful in Simic decks that build up counters, because you can shift any amount of +1/+1 counters as an instant. This can pump up your Master Biomancer before putting out creatures, or you can leave wimpy blockers to make your opponents think it's safe to attack and then make your blockers huge! It is super effective
I hope this helps! Simic is awesome!

I realize that. I mostly put Slaughter Games in because I know all my friends decks, so I can get rid of their win con. And Ob Nixilis, honestly should be sideboarded for when I'm playing against decks with fetchlands  (or cards like Momir Vig).
I love Cryptborn Horror!! And Drainpipe Vermin!
Lots of great ideas here again. Thanks man! I'm definitely going to do some rebuilding.

Thanks, homie!
I definitely added those Hydras, I love Managorger as a good 3 drop! And Oran-Rief is good to have another big beast to pull with Mayael.
I also added Hardened Scales to help beef up creatures faster, Congregation at Dawn to help put what I need on top, and Unflinching Courage to help with lifegain and give a big beastie trample.
I really like Lightning Talons, Rootborn Defenses, and Retreat to Kazandu, but I don't know what to cut to fit them in. For Rootborn Defenses I could cut Thousand-Year Elixir, but I like that I can use the elixir to put out two 8/8s from Godsire each turn its out.

Thanks, bro! I've been playing this deck a lot lately, and it is mean! I was told it's not a deck to play with your friends  ;)
It'll see some FNM play as soon as my schedule allows. It still needs a solid sideboard.

Dragon decks are always fun!
Have you considered Frontier Siege for mana ramp and removal?
