Reyhan, Last of the Abzan pairs up really well with Ishai, so that is another option.

Other options include  Merry, Warden of Isengard with Pippin, Warden of Isengard.  Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit with Sam, Loyal Attendant.  I mention the Hobbits because I just like the silly idea of ninjas using them as distractions.

Merry and Pippin have the advantage of creating lifelink soldiers that gain you life if they get blocked, and become ninjas if they don’t get blocked.  The food tokens turn into a buff for a big swing if the game lasts long enough.

I agree that Hobbits using Ninjas as a distraction sounds hilarious, and I've heard that the food precons were surprisingly powerful.
Not sure about Reyhan, I don't think I have a lot of +1/+1 counter stuff to utilize right now.

Also, not so much Ninjas specifically, but giving everything Ninjutsu, so the creature type options are pretty open.

There are only 1 W and 4 G ninjas. I would strongly suggest keeping it to blue black under yuriko if you want your strongest deck. Or for something more unconventional, I have had a lot of fun with Goro-goro and Satoru (RBU).

Yeah unfortunately the white and green options are beyond limited, that's why I was going for a mix of types and using stuff like unblockable and Satoru to give everything Ninjutsu even if they weren't Ninjas.
There's a Yuriko player in my group, so I avoided making her the commander so I'm not running the same stuff as him.

Goro-goro and Satoru look cool but does that ability only give 1 dragon no matter how many you deal combat damage with?

4c Ninjutsu? Please help.

I don't know if I have to post this in a specific forum, so I'm just letting it go wherever the "Post on our forums" button brought me.

Please help me fix this deck.

I was given a small stack of Ninjutsu cards and wanted to thank my buddy by using them in a deck, but the cards were a mix of white, black, blue, and green, and outside of using Atraxa, I didn't know how to get these colors for this, so I went with Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper for the lifegain, and Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker for the colors and a constantly growing body.
I am more than happy to use other options if someone can find some.

The rest of the deck is mostly Ninjutsu stuff, using Satoru Umezawa to give my non-Ninja's ninjutsu. It isn't consistent, I'm sure. I just picked a bunch of creatures with Ninjutsu and chose the ones I felt had good effects on them. The rest is just stuff I thought might help, like a bit of ramp and support.


Please feel free to suggest what to take out to get things down to 100 cards, or even add to make the deck work in the end, even if you change the mana base, card choices, colors, etc. (Please try to keep it at least 3 colors so that I can use what my friend gave me.)
My only thing is that I'd like to keep in the "anime" styled Kamigawa Ninjas/Samurai if possible, as those are the ones that were given to me.

For the sake of a budget, let's say a max value of $400 or less is doable for the total of the deck's price, so the cheapest printings of each card is definitely preferred.


If anyone decides to help me out with this, or even reads through all of this, I really appreciate it. Thank you.

Also, I don't know why the decklist is showing in reverse alphabetical order. I usually use type-extended.
