Smothering Tithe, Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus would be great additions in the deck, especially because it's boros.

Yeah, sorry for not being more specific. I just wanted to point out that ballista + mikaeus on itself won't do much.

Just to consider: the mikaeus + ballista combo doesn't work that way, as ballista gets +1/+1 from Mikaeus. It works with triskelion, though, which is a great combo.

The other requirements for combos are a bit too specific for my taste.

Check nim deathmantle + grave titan and ashnods altar if you didn't know it yet and feel free to have a look at my own meren deck.

Then go for tarmogoyf maybe, this wouldn't change your mana curve. If you value dauthi voidwalker this much, changing it for a cheap blocker like goyf wouldn't change much in the overall synergy of the deck. Your choice

Hey mate, mindslicer indeed has really neat effect, but I'm personally always afraid of top decking in commander and even though Meren gets you a lot of stuff back, it won't target things like sorceries or instants in your graveyard and you'll only get one card back per round. The risks here are to big for my opinion and the situations it comes in handy are too few.

Hey mate, thanks for asking. I really switched Vraska to tendershoot because tendershoot is a brilliant token generator and vraska didn't do much for the overall synergy in comparison to it.

Competitive experience is difficult atm because of covid and meren is definitely not a T1-cEDH-deck, but it still packs a lot of power and easily keeps a lot of decks at bay.

I built a Kaalia deck myself and am impressed you took a very different route to it. Only thing I'm wondering is why you label it as competitive; I don't think this deck would have a chance at all against competetive decks.

Hey there! Dramatic Entrance doesn't make sense for 5 mana if your most expensive creature comes in for 6. I get it's an instant, but there are way better cards to replace it with.

I think the deck isn't bad at all and a good approach, but I agree it wouldn't keep up with the top decks in Vintage at all...
 
Maybe trying to change it a little for another format will do the trick of it being a competitive alternative. If Vintage isn't your goal in general...
