I wouldn't underestimate the effect of thinning out decks. Instead of just putting out mountain, you're taking out a mountain and a fetchlands. This gives you better probability on getting nonland cards. In terms of price, it'll eventually get reprinted. And 1 life is small cost compare to if you drew a land when you need something else.

Actually, In order to cheat out Krenko, you need to attack with Warren Instigator. With that in mind, it would be easy for opponent to block unless you send out other Goblins, which means less triggers for Krenko

I think it's still a good aggro deck. Especially with Goblin Grenade, Loyalist etc. I think you need to sideboard something against control and combo though

Hey Bloodwish, I think I would recommend Gather the Townsfolk instead of Raise the Alarm. It's not an instant, but when you're at low health, getting 5 bodies on the field might just buy you one more turn

So... What do you do against Solemnity?

I think you should run Ghost Quarter with this. It combos really well with Ramunap Excavator

You can try running Rule of Law. With opponent only casting one spell on their turn. It really stalls the game to a halt.
I also recommend considering Luminarch Ascension. Making 4/4 Angels for 2 mana is fun

Based on the price of this deck. I think mtg_player is looking for a budget deck. In this case, I highly recommend building the deck in pauper format composed on of commons. It's a fun format and it doesn't break your budget

Flicker would not work, but Flickerwisp would. The difference is that Flicker is still resolving when it brings back the creature, whereas Flickerwisp blinks out the Persecutor and then bring it back sometime later.

I think you don't have enough blue permanent to trigger a good Master of Waves devotion. You need more blue permanents

I think you should remove Monastery Swiftspear for this deck. You aren't playing enough cheap 1 drop noncreature spells. The reason why burn use Swiftspear is because they are running Bolt, Chain Lightning, Rift Bolt, Searing Blaze and Lava Spike. In that case, the creature can become a 4/5 in turn 3

Not really, Abundant Growth, Nylea's Presence and Evolving Wilds all help fix the mana.

Having said that, I think you can consider running Ancient Stirrings instead of Nylea's Presence, it's one mana and it can tutor the top 5 cards for a land.

No, people who play Wrath of God and something similar would typically be a control player, which means that they typically run white/blue decks with counterspells against counterspells.

Alternatively, they would use Supreme Verdict, which is a really common sideboard in decks like Jeskai Control or U/W control. On the other side of the spectrum, certain combo decks in Legacy (Belcher, Elves, Oops all spells, Storm) can go off within 1-2 turns. 4 counterspell is much too slow. You need Force of Will.

You might also want to look for ways to cheat the creatures out.

Sorry, Wrath of God or similar Board wipe will kill this deck. Also, you don't have enough counterspells to stall the game long enough for your win con to come out

Unfortunately, I think you have too much 3-drops. I think it would be best to swap out one of the 3-drop playset for Birds of Paradise to ramp faster and more consistent mana fixing. I recommend getting rid of lingering souls. You can easily sac mana dorks and Sakura Tribe Elder for Eldritch Evolution. Also note that Lingering Soul tokens are of 0 converted mana cost, so at best you are only getting a two drop in return
