The question becomes, what supporting cards could make white stronger? There are some powerful white Commanders, but it's the 99 that has mono white tied down. You have
Smothering Tithe for ramp, some creature based card Draw (such as
Mentor of the Meek) and that is pretty much it. White just runs out of gas so quickly.
I am not saying break the color pie, but maybe white (for instance, introducing lots of White counter spells), but maybe give the White color pie a new tool. One that has been alluded to in this thread already: politics.
For instance, a white enchantment as follows:
Friendly Negotiations (2)(W)(W)
Enchantment
At the beginning of your turn, target opponent may draw a card. If they do, draw two cards.
Or a Sorcery:
Territorial Dispute (2)(W)
Target opponent may search their library for a basic land. Search your library for a
Plains and put it into the battlefield.
If it isn't obvious, I would like to see White emerge as a color for making deals
