Any deck with sunmares without the main thing that makes them work on both turns (authority of the consuls) is doing it wrong. Dump oketra, and dump 2 other cards to include them.

Abzan Cats (Post-Rotation)

Ramp with Rishkar/Growing rites into the mana sinks that are Rhonas/Vizier of the Menagerie. Make tokens. Profit.

Shapers' Sanctuary draws us cards because our board has to be dealt with or it snowballs. Extra control in the SB, mostly tools to shut down U. Ixalan's Binding seems like a great tool to shut down gearhulks, how that plays out remains to be seen. Vraska's Contempt seems excellent.

Metallic mimic is a better cat then any of the other 1-2 cats.

Bump, made a good few changes, and sat in 4-5 tournaments. Feeling pretty good about where it's at.

Whats the point of the aetherwind basker in the deck. Seems like two pointless cards to me.

Metallic Mimic is probably the best 2 drop you can put in any token deck, especially when they're all the same type (soldiers, in this case)

Finished right in the middle. Stomped hard by an eldrazi ramp deck that I wasn't prepared for. Didn't have enough weenies out fast enough, deck felt understrength waiting for the key combo cards, so swapped out some weenies to add a couple gideons and sunmares. Added more colored mana lands.

Same comment as other one I recently posted on.

What do you do when your opponent casts solemnity on turn 2 or 3 and you have no way to deal with it in your entire deck?

Add an enchant removal somewhere.

Your entire deck can be nullified with a single solemnity on the board. Make sure to add removal of some sort that can deal with an enchantment

With as many plains as you're running you could toss 4 of them for 4 endless sands and still have enough W to supplement the colorless and gain massive utility from endless sands' abilities, plus it can be used to trigger more procession. Just my thoughts.

Endless sands land basically does the same thing as acrobatic maneuver, except its on a land card, and you can use it more then once (until you sac the land to revive everything). It has synergy with itself if you have more then one out. Defend with cat lord (or if its targeted, or not), tap with 2 mana, exile it so it doesnt die, then sac the land to bring it back into play with 2 fresh tokens. Repeat.

A deck built around an undesirable mechanic as a primary function doesn't seem like a great idea. While exert stuff is great in a pinch situationally, as a primary deck mechanic it's extremely limited, mostly because your cards have no synergy with each other.

Played my wife's RG aether energy deck. I think we called it at 40 cat tokens on the board.
