Pharika Creatureless Life Drain

I wanted to do something different this time and build a deck around Urborg mana shenanigans and big X spells. This feels like it'd be a lot of fun, I wanted to build an Enchantress deck but it wasn't quick enough, this list seems like it'll be speedy enough to respond to big creatures or enchantments/artifacts without getting slogged down in static permanents. First priority is to find Urborg, then Coffers, then Necropotence. Drain life, kill creatures and enjoy!

Gwafa Hazid's Stall Tactics

Modeled after countertop and angel prison legacy decks. I don't own a counterbalance, but that'd be a sure include if I did.

My first tiny leaders build. I haven't yet played in the format, but I imagine it's fast-paced, similar to Legacy. I'm not sure if Mana Tithe and Force Spike are viable but I feel like they could be great in this format. I'd love to hear any advice or suggestions!

LLawan and the Shifting Seas

Bounce everything, shuffle everyone's stuff back into their library, win with Psychosis Crawler or Words of Wind.

Merieke and the Prophet: Near-Creatureless Control

For a while, I've wanted to make a deck that absolutely despises living things. Cards like Vile Consumption and Spreading Plague are so appealing but I never found the right context for them until now. This deck aims to gradually grind out an excruciating win through combat damage after not casting any creatures (except maybe for False Prophet, a board wipe in human form.) and thoroughly dismissing opponents' threats. It's got its weaknesses, but I like its odds against aggro and combo.

Zedruu the Stone Bastard

This is a Blue/White pillow fort control deck with some nasty surprises. Donate and bounce Illusions of Grandeur, killing an opponent instantly if they're under 20 life. If they're above 20, give 'em Transcendence and kill them instantly. Or scry until you find Hive Mind and a Pact and kill everyone else instantly.

Zedruu is cool enough if you leave him alone. Until he decides to kill you instantly.

Cromat, Destroyer of Worlds/5-Color Belcher

At my LGS, they have two-round tournaments and the decks in the winners pod are always pretty cutthroat. One time I played against a Zo-Zu land destruction deck and it made me want to build something that could subsist, even thrive without land. This deck can go in a number of directions, all of them big, dramatic and pretty fast. Ramp like a madman at first, destroy all lands, destroy all creatures, drop Phage or some other hilarious threat, or just combo out with Mana Severance and Goblin Charbelcher

Toshiro's Grindhouse Matinee

Play small creatures, kill them, kill everything, let Geth (or Chainer) sort 'em out. Using Toshiro  seems like a fun angle to attack from. The term "grindhouse" refers not only to bloody pulp horror flicks but also to old-time theaters' practice of showing low-budget double features to lure poorer viewers. Toshiro pays tribute to this legacy by offering double bills of low-cost instants that pile on the thrills, chills and kills like so many b-movie scripts.

Balthor's DDR - Demon Discard Reanimation

This deck is designed to ramp early, fill up my graveyard and use discard effects and board wipes to maintain control until I can crack Balthor or cast Ljving Death etc to bomb the board with crazy demon value.
