Deck Reviews / [EDH / Commander] Budget Yisan Combo
« on: May 02, 2018, 07:19:06 pm »
Yisan Combo

Generate infinite mana with Elvish Archdruid/Priest of Titania/Wirewood Channeler + Wirewood Symbiote + Temur Sabertooth +another cheap elf

Normal Search order for Yisan is Wirewood Symbiote > Dwynen's Elite > Elvish Archdruid > Temur Sabertooth

Deck isn't optimized in its current state. For a fully competitive build it needs more ramp, better resistance to disruption, and better disruption. This version is made so that it can combo off or play a grindy game depending on how competitive the group you are playing with is. This deck is also quite cheap for how competitive it is.

mindSTORM CROWn

So op it can hide in plain sight.  Mindstorm crown in the board for more storm crows against cranial extraction effects. (which will be mainboarded soon once this deck becomes popular)   This deck will be the next format breaker!!!

Everday's a Miracle!

Modern Miracles needs a Miracle (Pun very much intended) of some more library manipulation to ever be good instead of just fun.  Tell me what you guys think because it seems very enjoyable to cast everything for less than you should be.

5 Color Shrine Control

Assemble all 5 shrines at once after keeping the board locked down and win from there.
Seems really fun especially if you get all five at once.  This isn't the most competitive but it could have potential so recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Basically it is the burn deck that could pretend to be Abzan.

Abzan Aggro

Cheap beaters to beatdown on your opponent. These aren't the fastest beaters in standard but they are effective in the early, mid, and potentially good in the late game. BFZ gave this deck the cards it needed in Drana, Woodland Wanderer, and the new Gideon.  I am considering this deck for game day.  I am still working on this deck any suggestions would help.

Beatdown with the most efficient threats each turn.  Sideboard for the more unfair decks and orb to stop Twin. Tell me what you guys think.
