Golgari UnderFood

I remember at the Eldraine Pre-release I went to, a few friends in my college's tabletop club suggested going Food if I didn't pull any other synergies of something like that.  So, I decided to throw together a Golgari Food deck on Arena with what I had (I have barely any wild cards, because I tend to build decks on there, so I only had like 2 Commons and 1 -- maybe -- Uncommon to work with, and the rest I naturally pulled) and it seemed pretty good!  I only have 1 Feasting Troll King in the Arena deck, but it proved amazing against Dimir Mill, because even with it getting countered, I easily made enough Food to bring it back, and bring it back two more times after it getting blocked out by a Nightveil Predator back-to-back!

Long story short, I want to try and make Food more viable, in a NOT broken, degenerate way like going Simic or Sultai, or just winning with the Cauldron Familiar combo (I don't hate the combo, because it's not that bad in paper...just in Arena, god it takes forever!).  Any and all help welcomed and greatly appreciated!!!

Bant Awakening

A weird deck using Sylvan Awakening to close out the game with Urza's Ruinous Blast or River's Rebuke to clear the board of resistance.

Deck Reviews / Revel in Riches in Standard(?!) HELP!!!
« on: December 05, 2018, 01:39:58 am »
I really enjoy unique/different ways of taking wins in MTG, usually with "You win" cards (I don't know what kind of player that's called, a Johnny???), and recently I've been hung up on Revel in Riches.  I'd really appreciate suggestions concerning ways to make Revel relevant in Standard, from deck shells it could go best with to even random stuff about it, ANY AND ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!

Jeskai Truefire Burn

A spellslinger deck modeled around Truefire Captain, to give creature burn cards like Beacon Bolt deadly potential to the opponent.

Exploring Immortality

The deck is pretty straightforward.  Ramp with Explore creatures to get more lands, then filter through the deck for Lich's Mastery/Approach of the second SunLich's Mastery is the preferred card to play first, because it will allow you to survive until you can cast Approach, then draw it after it resolves the first time because of Mastery's third line of text.  Enjoy!

PS: Made a similar version of this called Abzan Approach and pasted it onto Untap.in.  I went up against a player who went Mono-Red and we had one full match, where they won through damage (I wasn't able to pull the Mastery to Approach combo).  In the second match, I got Lich's Mastery out and played Approach the first time, and they became salty because their deck was almost ineffective with Mastery active.  They ended up quitting the match, so if you plan on making a deck using Lich's Mastery and Approach of the Second Sun, do so at your own risk.

Approach of the Wakening Sun

A midrange/combo deck that is a bit deceiving.  This deck has two ways to win: ramp into Approach of the Second Sun to win the game, or ramp into a discounted Wakening Sun's Avatar to wipe the opponent's board and win through combat damage.

Dino Voltron

Use tokens with Song of Freyalise to ramp into huge creatures, as well as a two-turn Huatli, Radiant Champion Emblem (potentially).  Next, make tokens the threat while digging for Zetalpa, Primal Dawn, then pop her off and equip any equipments to her before slaughtering your opponents with her huge indestructible body!

Basically beatdown while you search for Zetalpa, then go all in with her.

Clean Sweep

Ramp heavily into Fall of the Thran, with The Mending of Dominaria and Scanvenger Grounds to make a one-sided Armageddon.  After that, pop a Wakening Sun's Avatar to clear the enemy's board, and close out the game.

EXPERIMENTAL DECK, any and all advice appreciated.
