I am observing, while I am building two decks:
Seaoclock Monsters and
Massive Giants, I have been trying to synergize the cards and the meanings and the flavour of them in the way that they will mean something when standing one right to another in the deck. I have been collecting them quite a bit of time. The Monsters, I have played at local clubs and I am very satisfied that the deck is moving, and even if not I am not winning - the beauty of the match, magic and sport is the most important thing to me. Concerning the Giant deck is that actually, most Modern techniques are quite faster than this deck, so I don't play it very much, except from time to time casually to pay honor to these great folks. While I have almost collected all on Lorwyn-Shadowmoor, particularly for them, I wanted to gain the DCI Primeval.
I believe such version of the card should be played artistically, magically and meaningfully in mainly Giants deck, if there are soldiers and players here who still remember this great folks. If you wanna try a Red-Green-White Giants deck and pay these great folks an honour - take this DCI Primeval especially for them. It is
bound to be artistically and probably even flavour-wise and why not storically-wise in such a deck. I have great respect for all of your decks, but if you seriously want to try such a deck, take a look at this Primeval and say is not Lorwyn.
I believe there are also other cards like these which are very much related and should be combined by players who wanna play them in a flavour and artistical combination that is meaningful to him. There was a dude at the local club who was rumbling that he is untapping red mana with
Kiora's Follower. If we as players don't follow
simple synergy, I believe our cards are losing importance as singles and not only money spended on them, but artistic and valuable and even Magical thing to all of us.
I also wanted to pay respect for the Monsters and one follower is the promo card.
Why not all? "
She may callherself Kiora, but I believe she is Thassa, the embodiment of the sea and the empress of the depths.". Then why not collecting every meaningful monster and not combine the Zendikar-Alara-Theros into one scroll and see how it goes? Amazing. I recommend it to you to have such a Blue-Green
Sea Monster Combination. Even
Wrexial, the Risen Deep is just rocking, albeit 1 black, but yet it is Zendikar. I can't imagine such a
Simic Sky Swallower played in Tarkir combo, my respect for the set, gave me the best dragons, but is made for Monster Deck.
Sorry to brum out so much, I wanted to say is that we should synergize the decks with love and devotion and that these cards would actually mean something to us as players and Magic users, artistically and significantly, because they will just lose any meaning and even sense and price, not only physical, but spiritual.
Kindest regards to all of you, you have rocking decks!
