Mardu Aristocrats (Standard Edition)

This deck has insane power AND insane reach. The only problem? Board clears suck. Build your sideboard around stopping them!

Mardu Midrange Knights

This is a very simple aggro/midrange shell that wants to curve out and stomp face. I'm playing a silver-bullet Midnight Reaper to retain card advantage against control and 4 Justice Strike to make Lyra look like a 20 dollar piece of toilet paper. I've top 4'd with this deck two weeks in a row against Nexus, Jeskai Control, and Boros Angels. :)

This deck is explosive as hell. If you open a very specific combo, you can kill on turn 4. Even if you can't, this thing is still a blast to play.

You could also just leave Thran out and Remorseful Cleric the opponent, so they get no benefit. I would just rather have creatures to win off of Vraska than another 3 mana Artifact.

Abzan Fall of the Thran (Abthran)

Ramp into Vraska, Golgari Queen, then play Fall of the Thran, nuke all the lands, and plus Vraska to immediately remove it from play. Opponent will have nothing, but you, good sir/madame, will have a multitude of ways to get your lands back, and if not, just Ultimate Vraska and kill them with a Llanowar Elves. ;)

Standard Sultai Muldrotha Reanimator

Set up your GY with self milling and cast a Concoct as early as possible to stick a Muldrotha. From there, use and abuse your GY to the fullest extent, recasting removal spell creatures like Plaguecrafter and Ravenous Chupacabra, and resetting them every turn with sacrifice via Vraska, Golgari Queen.

Deck Reviews / [Standard] Standard Dredge??? Probably not, but it's decent.

Standard Dredge??? Probably not, but it's decent.

Dump your yard and do crazy shenanigans. Pretty straightforward, unlike Wizard's ability to print us reasonable self-milling cards. ;(

G/B Heartless Eldrazi (Final Version)

I've fine-tuned the deck in terms of mana, card choice, and overall strategy. Don't let the Reality Smasher fool you, this is very much a control-oriented deck. Use your hand disruption to pick apart opponent's hands and set yourself up for the next several turns. If there's anything you can't hit with your discard spells, you have Thought-Knot Seer and Distended Mindbender to really hammer the point home. You'll win with a combination of hand and board control, then slamming a mid-game Reality Smasher and running the opponent over. Sideboard is just a customizable removal sweep with some random hate cards here and there for harder match-ups.

G/B Heartless Eldrazi

Disrupt the game early on with Thoughtseize and Dismember while also searching out your Eldrazi Temple with Ancient Stirrings. Establish an early Temple or Heartless Summoning and start slamming massive mid-to-late game bombs.

R/U Ensoul Artifact Aggro! (Ultra Budget Modern!)

Stick a flyer on board with Ensoul Artifact, or a Salvage Titan, then use your 8 Double Strike granting effects to beat the ever loving crap out of the opponent's face!
