I run a similar deck. My Creature base is 4x Ulamog's Crusher, 4x Eldrazi Devestator, 4x Fangreen Marauder, and 2x Fierce Empath to search up bigger threats. Tree of tales is worth an include over forests in this package as you can crop rotation it for 5 life with a Fangreen Marauder out. I have considered adding red to my build too, for a little bit of removal, potentially something like Rolling Thunder or Kaerevek's Torch which can make use of your big mana.

Although they don't produce green, it is also worth considering Sejiri Steepe and Bojuka Bog as lands.

Cut lands. You only need 19-21 lands in modern merfolk. Try and find some Master of the Pearl Tridents. Also, the main reason to run white in Merfolk is access to Path to Exile for removal. Cold-Eye Selkie is probably also a card worth cutting. Sejiri Merfolk is probably best in the sideboard if you're desperate to run it.

Goyf feels out of place here. It non-bos with the delve creatures and Scavenging ooze. I would suggest you either cut them the goyfs for something else such as Kalitas, Dark Confidant or Kitchen Finks, or cut the other cards in favour of another card that fills your graveyard, or likes your graveyard full, e.g. Grim Flayer.

If you're playing this deck already I'd be intrigued to find out whether you have noticed this as an issue.
