Knight if the reliquary sounds good for tutoring for ghost quarters and as a finisher, if I splash for white I also get access to aven mindcensor for turning ghost wuarter into almost strip mine. Tilling treefolk sounds interesting as another way to recur lands and block small creatures.

for maximum damage, instead of brute force you could use assault strobe. the downside is that it is a sorcery and cannot be used defensively.

some other creatures to consider(they may or may not be better): frogmite, myr enforcer, and salvage titan(which might not go with the others as well)
