Deckstats Feedback / Feature Request Search by amount of specific mana
« on: October 24, 2018, 05:39:28 pm »
There are some cards that make have certain amounts of mana in the cmc matter and i thing being able to have more that just the cmc search but have a way to search for specific mana costs would be helpful for example you want to find a card with 1GG it will show all cards with that specifc mana cost.

Have you considered a more land destruction focused deck i mean with this deck once you get the mana rocks out you don't care about your own lands and usually win cuz your opponents hands just keep filling up with nothing to do.  Plus you can always use ramos to get 10 extra mana and the void winnower on the board makes people even more unhappy i mean they can't do most of the common wrath effects even if they somehow manage to deal with all the land destruction.  On top of that you can easily pump up your planeswalkers (my favorite is Ajani Vengeant, I have managed to pull off his ultimate twice in one game.)  The main goal of this deck is to win by playing hellkite tyrant.  That always pisses people off when you drop hellkite on a board of 20+ artifacts and make you super happy.  If you play against another deck that can handle land destruction you have plenty of removal.  Being able to clear all lands, creatures, or playing stuff on your opponents turns is always awesome with vedalken orrery and it basically gives creatures haste and allows you to take advantage of unused mana and not to mention protect your creatures that you need to get to on your turn.

i Have a ghost council deck i havent uploaded it yet i focuses mor on lifegain/drain and ramp then plays Storm Herd to summon millions of 1/1 pegasi to help protect me and to abuse the ghost council when i get around to uploading it i will put it here for you to take a look at but its a more token baased deck that runs lots of sac outlets to capitalise on that with more life gain and drain than most orzohv decks but in the mean time if you want an awesome Black/White deck i have a legends matter version the recks in my playgroup and i play in 6-10 person games and have zero problems winning consistently and its fun honestly mor fun than any other BW deck ive ever played.

I don't think having a tribal theme is a good reason to remove tutors. There isn't any good reason to remove tutors..

Yeah there is if you have a deck with lots of draw + scry you only need 3-4 tutors ever or 1 repeatable tutor is also enough cuz once you have a draw + scry engine you're able to go through your deck very quickly and get what you need plus pick up other cards on the way in fact i had found having a good engine like this most of the time you don't even need a tutor at all to be consistent.  I'd rather spend 3-4 extra mana getting something that can save me right away and other stuff that can help me later then find an answer now and then panic cuz i can't protect myself again later.  The exception is when playing an infinite combo deck i want my tutors to get my pieces so i can go off asap however this deck does not have that as its win condition if it even could (i did a quick glance) you need more cycle/draw the more you can cast in a turn the better for this remember in most games zombie token decks need to swarm fast and hit hard because the opponent cant't block everything.  You also want to consider mass reanimation cards.

https://deckstats.net/decks/86132/1063920-cedh-yidris-storm this deck is more than a bit competitive and is definitely fun (for the pilot, at least ;) ) and isn't $7000 but definitely not cheap. I would consider it.
see i was hoping to give them a deck that used the oldest versions of cards i mean i gave the title of the tournament Time Warp it has a theme of you have to include atleast 3 card from odyssey back and was hope the deck may even resemble that.

I am curious, Varatius ... What is the reason you are looking for all of these criteria?  Especially the "must be super expensive" stipulation.  I've seen many people demand cheap decks, this is the first time I've seen anyone demand an expensive deck.
im hosting a  tournament that people are buying in for and i want to get them a nice reward for the winner but i wanna make sure its a fun deck at the same time i have about 100 people attending so far.

This is a thing i have found in most edh players that they have 1 specific keyword or mechanic they try to run in any deck if possible.  For example i love scry and if i cant find a place for it in a multicolor deck i force the temple scry lands that fit into the deck like Temple of Malady.  However if surveil would synergize better i will make sure to include that as well as it is very similar.  So i was just wondering what keywords or mechanic do you try to squeeze in when possible?

The problem I see is that for most combos that take out one opponent, end up taking out every opponent. So the way I understand it, is you have to actively choose one player to take out with one combo, and then choose to not use it on another player. Correct?
kinda of im looking more for like mindsculptor to win against on player and have another way to deal with only one opponet and so on it doesnt necessarily have to be mindsculptor or and multiple card combo just one win con per multiple players somewhere around 4 -6 ways to remove people in this price range i have a few decks like this but i want one thats extremely expensive but uses niche cards and etraordinary win conditions because i find it more fun to eliminate 1-2 players at seperate times and lose in the end tover beating everyone at once.

I don't quite understand the second requirement. It sounds like every combat-oriented deck can kill people slowly in different ways. Could you please elaborate?
Basically i want more than one way ie attacking maybe chandra burn mill but i want to be able to focus each win con on a different opponent.

Im looking for an edh deck that follows 3 of five criteria 2 are mandatory while the other three are optional on which you want to do:
Mandatory
1 Must cost atleast $7000 not including foils
2 Must be able to kill multiple opponents with seperate win conditions slowly

Optional
3 Abuses voldalken orrery
4 Has 5 planeswalkers but no more than 12 and must run either Tibalt, Fiend Blooded or Jace th Living GuildPact but not both
5 Can rush through deck either through draw or tutors

Please put in the description the win conditions and any spectacular combos.

Deck Reviews / [EDH / Commander] Ally Stuff (Casual)

Ally Stuff (Casual)

(THIS IS A CASUAL DECK! CAN STEAL WINS FROM MORE COMPETITIVE DECKS BUT NOT VERY OFTEN!)
This is an ally based deck so swarm do a bunch of stuff for playing allies attack pretty basic. Usually when you control voldealken orrery you dont play cards on your turn unless it removes a player or wins the game instead you play thing on the end step before your turn so you can attack however i do have haste creators so that is always an option.

id like to turn this competitive if anyone could help.
