But I've got Haldan & Pako partially built as well as looking to build

A friend built one recently and I have seen it several times. His works really well. Pako can become quite the threat.

You have have 16 permanents that work with your commander's ability. To me this seems unlikely that you will get enough value out of that specific commander. The chances you see those cards are low, and then lower that chance of having them in the graveyard.

So, I am not sure if this is the focus of your deck or not, but I would bump that number to make your commander more effective.

I typically run ~37 lands. I have only been playing Magic for about a year. The couple decks that I have that are less than that have other ways of using mana. I forget which video, but Mitch from Commander's Quarters once mentioned you should have somewhere around ~45 mana sources, so if you have 36 lands then you should have 9 other ways to get mana. I tend to think 45 is high, but it is a good way to go about thinking about it.

My group is typically a more casual group, although the more we play together the more others are tuning their decks, and we are getting higher and higher power level. I would say we probably only have 1-2 cEDH decks among the total collections of our group.

Someone can help me out with this, but I would say most of my decks are between a 6-8 power level. Personally, I wouldn't put any of mine in the 9 category; though these numbers are always subjective.  If you are bored enough to go look, the descriptions should say whether they are in my collection or not.

Honestly, the only commander that really grabs my attention is Rin and Seri, but I have already started building that deck.

I voted for Azusa, but could easily change my vote to Niambi

Here is the link to the EDH rec suggestions for a Voltron Zurgo. I always start at EDHrec.

Half-Deck #2 - Artifacts

Pia & Kiran - Sacrificial Artifacts - Jumpstart Contest

This was more difficult than expected. Each of my two decks feel like they are missing a vital component.

Landfall just seemed like something that would support anything else out there. Every deck has to have lands, right?

My playgroup has kept going.  We have played pretty much every Friday for the past 3+ months. Plus a few random games here and there.

Mitch from Commander's Quarters just talked about this here. In the first 8 minutes he focuses on mono blue and mentions a few cards you don't have. You might want to check it out.

Basic lands have the ability to tap for a single colored mana (for example, Swamp has the ability {T}: Add {B}). This means that they have color identities. Therefore, you can't run basic lands that tap for mana outside of your Commander's color identity
Basics, no matter what they look like, functionally essentially have "tap: add {colour} to your mana pool". They don't always display it that way for aesthetic reasons but they're so intrinsic to the game it doesn't matter. From a rules perspective, that's what it says.

Thanks a lot guys, this helps so much. This helps me understand because they do have a mana symbol in their rules text, just that rules text is never actually shown.

And thanks for the link to the extensive PDF doc.

Thanks for the clarification.

Where are you getting this 903.4 rule from? As far as official rules go, I only see what is on the commander site.

Just to add something, I didn't see in Red Wyrm's post, though I may have missed it since it was quite long.

College is comparable to University. However, when someone in the states goes to college, they are usually specifically going for an undergraduate degree and not an advanced degree.

For postgraduate degrees, such as a Master's or a Doctorate, no one says they are going to "college" for that, though it happens at the same institutions.

Slightly off topic discussion...

Without knowing the rulebook very well still being within my first year of learning magic/commander, Commander rules dictate you can't include cards outside of your commanders colors, but lands don't have a color, which is why the don't get destroyed with a wipe that says destroy all colored/multicolored permanents. So couldn't you technically have whatever land you want?

Interesting discussion here.

As I stated in my original post, the secondary theme was was bounce, and Golos goes with that better than Atraxa at this point.

I am not a huge fan of land destruction, but if I were to go Fall of the Thran I would pair it with The Mending of Dominaria

Made two changes, the biggest is adding Aura Shards.

a very good upgrate would be Hall of Heliod's Generosity

It should be in the deck already; but you are right, it is a very good card for this deck.

If you aren't stuck on your commander choice you might look t running Atraxa instead. You lose a color but gain so much value out of the proliferate mechanic in regards to saga's. Having a saga activate twice in one turn is very good.
I could look into that, I would lose 3 red Sagas. At 19 sagas, I already wish I had more, so I am not sure about going to 16.
