You replay lands from your graveyard through the Crucible.
Eliminate opponent's permanents with Smokestack.
Ideally you sac Dunes of the Dead to your own Smokestack, thus creating 2/2 Zombies.
Exploration allows you to play multiple lands back from your graveyard/hand, thus allowing you to up the counters on Smokestack.
Ghostly Prison & Tangle Wire prevent opponent's creatures from attacking
Ensnaring Bridge prevents single biggies from attacking ( Preventing annihilators, 20/20 critters or Griselbrands and the like )
Chalice of the Void locks down all 2CC spells ( including Disenchant ) and later all 1CC spells
Horn of Greed lets you draw cards whenever you play a land
Retreat to Kazandu lets you gain life whenever you play a land or pump up your zombies with a +1/+1 counter whenever you play a land

Buried Ruin allows you to get any Artifact from the graveyard back into your hand
Crystal Vein is super speed
Wasteland, Windswept Heath and Flagstones of Trokair obviously benefit from potentially being played every turn.
