Hey, in modern there is a ton of creature removal. Maybe I would play +1 High Alert and -1 Arcades. It could be a bit more safe.

You can't use Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage as Commander because there doenst stand "Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage can be your commander" :/

If you want to play this deck in modern you should play at least 2 basic Forest, 2 basic Plains, 1 basic Mountain and 1 basic Island. If someone would drop Blood Moon turn 3 your game is done.
And i think you dont need to play gates who tap for black mana ^^
