You would want 42 bobbleheads to win with Luck Bobblehead. That gives the best expected value for rolling seven sixes.

I suggest using the website called untap, it lets you play a lot of card games, not just mtg

Untap.in does have Magic the Gathering. It's the most played card game on that app.

Reviving this thread because it's happening again. This time it's a bunch of dating sites.

It should be pretty obvious that you shouldn't click these links.

I had some really good games these past few days. I'm learning a lot about Judith, Carnage Connoisseur.

First, the last ability of Bolas's Citadel makes for a very good win condition. Not used to that; in all my other decks I forget that it has that ability.

In another game I managed to play Judith on turn 4. On turn 5 my opponents had 10 creatures collectively, so I was able to play Revel in Riches and follow it up with Blazing Volley. With the ten treasures I won on the next upkeep.

Yes, they work well with Sensei's Divining Top. So if you look at the top 3 cards and none of them are useful, you can use a fetchland to shuffle the deck.

This issue should be fixed now.

Commander Discussion / Re: Banlist Justifications
« on: February 01, 2024, 11:41:55 pm »
If they start banning cards simply based off of the price of the card, I'll quit playing.  Telling me I'd have to remove a Serra Sanctum or a Nether Void simply because they're expensive is ridiculous, they get deleted by 30 cent removal spells

A wise person once said "If 'dies to removal' was a valid argument, permanents would never be on banned lists." And I trust that person, it's me.

While it's fun to point and laugh at how outdated the banlist is, I am glad that the rules committee did this. I'm hoping that seeing how players respond to these reasonings will cause them to re-evaluate why these cards are on the banlist and not similar cards.

Commander Discussion / Banlist Justifications

https://mtgcommander.net/index.php/banned-list/

The banlist now includes an explanation as to why each card is banned.

Some of the explanations are laughably bad. About a third of them the reason is "this card is expensive, we don't want people to think commander is expensive". I get the impression that some poor sap had to do this, couldn't come up with a good reason to explain why the cards were banned, and then tried their best. One friend of mine is convinced that some of these are AI generated.

What do think of the reasons given?

Why Goblin Bombardment? Is it worth sacrificing one of your big dinosaurs to deal 1 damage?

I should probably update everyone on what's happening with this deck.

I can think of a couple. Maybe Havoc Festival, Revel in Riches, or Master of Cruelties?

I did add Revel in Riches and Master of Cruelties after this post. In my testing they work alright, but I'm not sure how they will fare in a proper game. I don't want to risk using Havoc Festival. I've seen other people play this card and they lose... every time. I am not nearly a good enough aggro deck to make this card work.

Sadistic Glee or Blade of the Bloodchief would allow Judith to start swinging for lethal after a good wipe or two to help close out the game.
Vicious Shadows would similarly allow you to quickly kill people off after any given wipe.

Sadistic Glee and Blade of the Bloodchief would make this a completely different build. I would need to take out at least 8 creatures to make Judith lethal in two hits. Anything less and it's three hits. That gives a lot of time for my opponents to prepare. I'm not going to use them for now but I may revisit it.

Eye of Vecna and Greed are pretty good ways to draw when you need it.
Magar of the Magic Strings allows you to keep repeating your spells, including your draw ones, as your 3/3s will have no problem getting through when you're constantly spamming wipes.

I was already thinking about adding Magar, and this was the last little bit of encouragement I needed. Greed has also been added in, as I've had good results with it in the past. Eye of Vecna I definitely won't use. I do not want to pay an extra 2 mana each turn and 2 life for only 1 card. Phyrexian Arena gives a much better rate, and even that card I'm on the fence about.

An other approach could be an Orzhov version of this deck. Play around life gain with cards like aetherflux reservoir, aria of flame, bloodthirsty aerialist (multiple +1/+1 for each creature damaged) or marauding blight-priest.
It can be amplified with Blitzwing, cruel tormentor, defiant bloodlord, epicure of blood or exquisite blood.

This is also a completely different build. The lifegain from Judith is inconsistent and pretty small (unless I do end up adding Blasphemous Act). Certainly not enough to make a lifegain theme out of it unless I completely rework this deck.

Thought of another card you may want to consider, Flick a Coin.

Did some playtesting with this early on before I posted the list. I wasn't a fan. Three mana is a lot and while it does a lot of things, none of them are worth three mana.

Looks fine to me. It could probably use a little more removal and card draw. Have you had a chance to play the deck?
