It was actually supposed to be uncommon, but rares there now and I don't mind sticking to it. Not totally inappropriate, because of the cannot be countered, but it is kind of under powered, which some cards need to be

I think the combination of flash and the flying deathouch pushes this into rare territory, the 'cannot be countered' pushes into rare for sure, in my estimation (look at the stats, costs, and keywords for Prowling Serpopard for comparison). I believe you got the rarity right as it is posted. These are supposed to be "Standard-level-power" after all. Can't go crazy :)

My only argument against rare is Winged Coatl exists exclusively at common, and Fleetfeather Cockatrice is uncommon (but that one has actual battle stats). But I think an uncounterable, almost unconditional kill spell is good at rare for limited reasons.

The combo: Have Gitrog and Seismic Assault on the field and a Dreger in the grave. Make a land hit the graveyard, Dredge instead of draw. More lands hit grave, more draw triggers, Dredge more cards. Do this until you have enough draw triggers to actually start drawing cards. The repeat this but discarding to seismic assault, more dredge/draw triggers, until you can win the game.

Getting a playset of Hour of glory today. Now to decide what to cut. Consistency-wise iā€™d say I want to play four copies, do I cut my chupacabras or my poisoners, chupacabra leaves me with a creature to sac possibly for torgaar and this casting it for 6 but I like the instant speed of dire fleet poisoner and the cheap mana cost to do it.. Thanks a lot for all the help guys!

Maybe cut 2 Chupacabra 2 Poisoner? They each have their uses.

There are other, cheap Exile Effects in black in standard other than Vraska's.

Hour of Glory is probably the best option, and cheap money wise.
Final Reward is literally pennies, but higher cmc.
Settle the Score is also 4cmc and cheap, but sorcery speed.
Reaver Ambush is 3cmc and instant speed and cheap money wise, but doesn't hit the gods, which is the main reason for the exile effects.

Lurking Chupacabra just does nothing in your deck. I think you meant the other one, Ravenous Chupacabra

I  don't think you'd want 4 of either Chupacabra, you need some exile on board effects for the Gods.

I think I'd like UW for mono 1drops. Sacred Cat and Proven Combatant for some extra uses for mana later on. 2 sets of 1mana cant be blocked in U right now. Siren StormChaser to protect. The blue Memorial land that draws 2 cards.

Black just doesnt seem to do that much other than some discard.

I don't like the white explorer. 3 mana, not great stats.

I think you could use some Legion's Landing as early aggressive threats and some hedge for mono red. And maybe 1 Adorned Puncer, just as double striker, and late game threat.

This looks pretty solid. I'm not a huge fan of 4 Cabal, because they need 5 swamps in play to be worth the activation, and drawing a more before then impedes that progress. I think 2 Cabal, 2? Infir Deadlands would be a good trade, or an Arch or Orazca as another dump outlet.

Your 4 drops slot is a little congested between Chupacabra, Prophets, Josu, Gonti, and Contempts, but those are all really good cards.

I think Heart of Kiran, Skysovereign, Consul Flagship, Traxos, Scourge of Kroog all fit in here well. Legendary Artifacts. Maybe a Padeem.
