B/W Eldrazi Taxes
This Deck is my first try to enter the modern format.
Loving the colors B/W and having some stuff for it, i decided to go for Eldrazi Taxes.
This deck differs from the other BW Eldrazis Taxes decks i have seen on mtggoldfish and other sites. I play Kambal mainboard, because my experiences in the local store and on Xmage were, that soooo many decks are based on sorceries and Instants.... so why wasting round 1 and board him in, when in most of the matches he can be a pain in round 1.
Reality Smasher... hes such a great weapon in the mid and lategame, or even on turn 3 if u are a lucky guy. Espcially with the unban of Jace, its very nice to have at least on guy with haste who can rape jace in the same turn of casting. Im thinking about a third copy of him for mainboard... I decided to kick out 1 copy of sculler, one copy of displacer and one strangeler to have place for the Smashers and Kambals, because i think, its rly worth it and it makes the deck more divers.
The sideboard is.... totally dependent on the local meta. That is why there are so many maybe-cards. But there are some Key-cards like: Fatal Push, Rest in Peace, Kor Fireworker and Gideon.
If u know that there are no affinity/lantern Decks in ure Store... stony silences is definitly replaceable. E.G. Extirpate is a great alternative for raping most of the combodecks. Collective Brutality is always nice... so are Inquisitions or Thoughtseize.... Or maybe take ure Eidolons of Rhetoric with u. In most of they cases u have aether vial and ure able to cast one crature from hand and one with aether vial... so u get ure advantage or the opponent have to waste a removal.... and so on and so on. Each of the cards in Sideboard and maybeboard do have the right to exist i think.
Let me know what u think about the Deck. My experience with this deck are very nice. Facing many different decks on FNM and on Xmage i can say, that this deck is able to win vs everyone. Except of "8 Rack" ... this is deck is pure shit
