You are running exactly 0 spells to deal with your opponent's threats other than Acolyte's Reward, and your deck is not really designed to consistently leave up mana for it.  Path to exile, condemn, journey to nowhere, oblivion ring, lots of options for removal exist in white.  Otherwise one problematic creature can be the death of you.

Note that Elixir of Immortality and Krosan Reclamation are meta choices; one of my friends plays UB Mill with Phenax, God of Deception.

A fairly powerful deck... Unfortunately, this is strictly worse than 60 Islands and thus nearly unplayable in tournaments

You can only play Green and Blue if your commander is green and blue... You can't play any cards that are white, red or black or even have white, red or black mana symbols anywhere on them.
Sorry to crush your deams

Card Draw: Serum Visions and Sleight of Hand are good options.  Ancestral Visions is good if you don't have a budget restriction; Anticipate doesn't seem horrible but it is a bit pricey for card draw.  Note that Anticipate and Sleight of Hand and similar effects don't trigger Erasure/Tutelage.  I don't really like Think Twice and the other options aren't good enough to be Modern viable.

Mill: Hedron Crab is good, Tome Scour is all right.  Mono-U mill is tricky without Glimpse the Unthinkable and Mind Funeral, though Tutelage does decent work.  May I recommend Mesmeric Orb?

Jace's Sanctum is slow.  Jace, Memory Adept seems all right as a 2-of; don't play any of the other Jaces.  Spell Snare is a great counterspell; so are Mana Leak and Cryptic Command and possibly Remand depending on the meta you expect.

4x Nissa and Gideon seems a bit excessive since you can't have more than one on the battlefield at once.  I'd also add 1-2 more Westvale Abbey as an alternate win condition; Ormendahl is very strong.

Can you win effectively without Blazing Shoal? Because that's important...

I'd drop Quicken for Gitaxian ProbeQuicken doesn't really help much, and probe lets you draw a card and see what your opponent is doing.

@BadgerMaster - I prefer Slip Through Space to Artful Dodge because the cantrip is often very useful.  I also use Temur Battle Rage rather than Assault Strobe because having Trample is very useful if I don't have a Slip Through Space in hand (and the Kiln Fiend/Nivix Cyclops/Awoken Horror I'm playing it on will ensure that I always have ferocious), because instant speed means you are less likely to be blown out by removal, and because, frankly, it's what the pros play.

Thanks!  When I first built the list, I had four colours; then, when I narrowed it down to three, I was still using a mana base designed to produce lots of colours.  I also cut Thought-Knot Seer from the list for space, so that reduced the number of colourless-cost cards.

Changes:
+1 of each basic
+1 Choked Estuary
+1 Wastes (A {c} land that can be fetched with Evolving Wilds, just in case)
-2 Crumbling Vestige
-3 Unknown Shores

Deck Reviews / Standard Grixis Eldrazi Aggro
« on: November 05, 2016, 04:57:42 pm »
Greetings!

I've been working on an aggressive Eldrazi list for Standard since I discovered Ruination Guide, and I came up with this Grixis list.  What are your thoughts on how I could improve the deck? (keeping in mind that I'm trying to keep it as budget-friendly as possible)  The list is fairly self-explanatory; basically my goal is to throw Eldrazi onto the board and win by overwhelming the opponent.  I'm thinking about Fleetwheel Cruiser as a possible addition.

Here's the list: https://deckstats.net/decks/23024/603050-grixis-eldrazi

If you have any thoughts, please reply!  Thanks!
