Im not a dick, dont worry^^

But first, where u wanna play  this deck? If u wanna play it for fun with friends, then i can tell u that this will be fun BUT if u want to play this on DCI Tournaments, FNM and so on then i can tell u that u dont will win very often.

In legacy its very hard to play decks that are made for fun.
So if u wanna start MTG again i would say that u can easily start with standard.

And if u want to build a new deck then think about some think:
- use ur good cards 3-4 times in a deck
- try to use a strategy and use cards that will support that strategy
- Use enough lands

First of all, build a deck with 60 cards.
Then u have a to high mana curve, RG u can best play with a mana curve of 2 - 2,2.
And this deck is just legacy legal and i dont would go on legacy tournaments with this deck, u get owned everytime with this.

If u wanna start magic i would play modern or standard, u dont have such hard combos like in legacy and its much more cheaper then legacy.

Super das es endlich auch ein allgemeines Forum gibt für die deutsch sprechenden Spieler!


Ich habe mir gedacht um es mal zu eröffnen machen wir mal eine kurze Runde was eure Lieblingskarte ist?
Was verbindet Ihr mit dieser Karte und warum ist genau diese Karte eure Lieblingskarte?


Meine ist die Daybreak Coronet
Warum? Weil ich sie anfangs in meinem Deck nur ein mal hatte und immer wenn ich sie wirklich brauchte zog ich sie, nach und nach habe ich mir dann ein Playset zusammen ergaunert und sie hilft mir heute noch in brenzligen Situationen.

This deck is to weak cause u just have the unlockables for ur dmg and thats not enough.
I play GW Enchantments in Modern, and I get my creature earlyer out to the battlefield.
I can every turn push them and boost them up, their all hexproofs and after 4 turns they can get 30/30 or more and are unblockable with Spirit Mantle, and if i get also a Daybreak Coronet on that creature hes unblockable, can block everything and give me Lifelink ... so thats prety much better then mono blue unblockable without Enchantments.
U can try to splash with white or red to get some Enchantments on them ... or Play Nivmagus Elemental to sacrifice ur Cipher Copies and get him bigger... but without any dmg and just the unblockable creauter u cant win, the most of them are not hexproof so they can easily get a removal and then ? ... then u have rly no dmg

I think u have to rethink ur deck bevore u start playing on FNM or other tournaments.


Try to use the Unblockable Creatures and then use them with enchantments or instant boosts like Giat Growth, then u can rush ur enemy every turn with 9/9 or more

1) No, cause its not a Vamp just when Olivia bites him and when hes in the Graveyard hes his normal types.
2) Same, u also can exile ur creature and get it back so its not a vamp anymore

If u switch the zones, it lost his Vamp type.

Its to slow and u have no synergy in ur deck ... u just have some big creatures but they just eat a removal and ur wincon is destroyed. Its not bad for ur first deck (my first deck was horrible ), but it need some advices. Now im at work but when i have some time i try to give u some advices , but I can tell u now that mono black isnt a good choice at all but for the first deck its ok and u can play it with ur friends .. But dont play it on FNM, its not a flame or something but u will get owned by the most decks, I saw it by myself

AeroSigma, its a T2 Standard deck. He cant use things like Mana Leak ^^ I love it but its for Modern or casual, sure Syncopate is hard to use but the enemy also dont know what u wanna do

To the Flames of Firebrand, sure it CAN be a triple killer but if u wanna clean the board u can use Mizzium Mortars. Its not so much more expensive then Flames of Firebrand and u kill every normal creature with 4 or less defense, so im not a fan of Flames of Firebrand.

The Ring of three Wishes is also not tly usefull in a T2 deck, so i think if he wanna play T2 he have to re-work his deck cause u cant win a game with just 1 single combo or late game card. U have to create a deck that works very often and well, so if u want to play cards with high costs then better play Green Ramp, UR ist not made for such a late game



And the deck that i posted is a good working deck, it works constantly and is also great against some aggro (love the Young Pyromancer - wanna play him in a  storm deck )

And  Joseph u ask me about the dual and shocklands:
Play them, they are so great in a deck that have more then 1 color and u can get them rly cheap for 4-5 $ maybe.
And if u wanna play a another deck u also can use them for a modern deck or resell them its great to play this lands!

If u have some questions u can ask me everytime, i also got some nice ideas for control decks like my new strategy that i wanna play - Elite Arcanist with Silence = complete lock of the enemys turn! U can create so nice strategys in MTG just take some time and rethink ur picks !

Dont Use Cancel, u can use better Counterspells like Syncopate.
Dismiss into Dream  is useless, u play many counters so how kill the enemy creatures without spells that target them ? .. 7Mana is to much, and u can easily kill this enchantment with the right sideboard spell.

Disperse, use Cyclone or Unsummon.

Flames of the Firebrand needs to much mana for use and its not very well, use Searing Spear or something like this.
1 drop Lightning Talons ? Why ^^ ? U dont play a enchantment deck, u play a hard counter and removal deck so ur greates thing there is ur removal and not ur enchantments.

Ring of Three Wishes  man 10 Mana and 1 extra round for a card in ur hand !? ... till that round ur dead
Shiv's Embrace same like the Lightning Talons.



U have to remind ur deck completly i think,
What u can try is that u play a heavy control deck with some removals, that also can shot dmg to your opponent:

4 Guttersnipe
4 Young pyromancer
3 Talrand, Sky Summoner

4 Essence Scatter
4 Syncopate
3 Searing Spear
3 Pillar of Flame
4 Dissipate
3 Mizzium Mortars
4 Unsummon
2 Negate
4 Sulfur Falls
4 Steam Vents
8 Island
6 Mountain

So u have ur control to make the match rly slow, and ur wincon is talrand and Guttersnipe .. the Young Pyromancer also can rule the game but hes very nice against early aggro, cause u have enough blockers everytime.

Es ist nur Legacy / Vintage Legal d.h. das es dafür zu langsam ist und du nicht oft deine Kombi in turn 1 spielen wirst da du 4 Karten auf der Opening hand haben musst ...
Und dazu kommt noch das im Legacy du schneller tot bist als du gucken kannst und da bringt dir dann auch keine 7/7 was in turn 1 wobei es für den Anfang echt gut ist! Und unter Freunden kannst du das super spielen
Aber Turnier eher weniger

This deck only have 10 Lands, so u draw everytime a new carddrawer .. or maybe a land but with the "draw 3 cards" u can easily get more of the card draws...
And u dont need the Grapeshot, u will draw it after a while with ur carddraws, i try to play this and it works rly nice
sometimes u get the t2 kill, and very often the t3-4 kill but u will kill him at latest in turn 5-6

Try it , it was on the first place in berlin 2012 - created by the best player in the world atm "Mike Hoffman"

Its a Storm deck with and endless mana trick in it, where u can win in Turn 2!

Turn 1: Land - Blistercoil Weird - Paradise Mantle
Turn 2: Land - Eq Blistercoil Weird with Paradise Mantle and now u can tap it for all ur 1 Mana spells and Blistercoil Weird get Untap after doing this so u have endless mana for ur 1 Mana Spells !
Use Grapeshot or the Weird for Ending on Turn 2!

Dude no .. that dont will work well!
U have just 1 and 2 drops that are good, the dreg mangler is ok but not amazing, u rly need some cards like:

Varolz, the Scar-Striped
Lotleth Troll
Gravecrawler
diregraf Ghoul


With Varolz u can also win in the mid game, but without that u cant win ... every Red Deck Wins is better then this, and faster.  U also can play a Green Aggro deck with just a black splash.
