I would recommend Flamewake Phoenix over Temur Sabertooth to have another 3 drop on curve. That guy is still cheap and a beast... recurring 2/2 flier with Haste.

I tried Icy Blasts initially, and they just don't get the work in main board. They are great sideboard against heavy creature threats. I would mainboard Stubborn Denial in their place. This card has done wonders in my Temur deck. It doesn't handle creatures, but there's lots of red spells to take care of those. One blue open to shutdown Board wipes is phenomenal. Good luck.

Sarkhan Dragons Modern

Ramp with BoP's and Explore. Flash in Dictate of Karametra end of opponents turn. On your turn cast Doubling Season and Sarkhan Unbroken. Pop Sarkhan's ultimate for Dragons with etb damage effects to kill the opponent. Protect the combo with Remand and Pact of Negation. Alternately, cast a kicked Rite of Replication on Scourge of Valkas or Bogardan Hellkite. You can play the slow game if the combo pieces don't come together with ramp, control, and dragon beatdowns. Plenty of card draw with Explore, Serum Visions, and Sarkhan, and plenty of finishing options between the dragons and Sarkhan Unbroken. I opted out of the Lightning bolts because I needed more counters to protect the combo or early game death. They also didn't draw cards, so they were less efficient.
