Hey!  Glad to see another person is looking to try out Merfolk!  Just a couple of things I noticed about the deck.

1) The land base will work at 20 Islands, but if someone plays Choke or Boil you basically scoop at that point.  I'd look into getting 4x Mutavaults as they do count as Merfolk, 2x Cavern of Souls (uncounterable Merfolk), and 2-4x Wanderwine Hub

2)  At 22 creatures, you are playing a really low number of creatures for an aggro deck.  Most Merfolk decks float around 29 or so.  While you definitely do have counterspells and other interactions, you don't have enough creatures to really get a smack down going.  Additionally, you should look into 2x Kira, Great Glass-Spinner for creature protection and 2 more Master of Waves.  MoW is actually a bomb to drop, and even if you only get one or two tokens off of it, it still rebuilds your board state very quickly.

3) Aquitect's Will looks good on paper, but it's an Island in addition to it's other land properties, which means that compared to Spreading Seas or Sea's Claim, it just doesn't do as much.

Overall you have the shell, what I would do is cut down on the Island count, cut out the 3 Vapor Snags, 2 Aquitect's Will, and 1 Mana Leak for 2x Kira, 2x Master of Waves, and maybe a Phantasmal Image.  Also, at least when Twin was big in the meta, Harbinger of the Tides was an automatic 4-of.  Maybe you want to look into that one too?
