skewer the critics seems suitable for the deck.

Also search for 12 bolt. It's a very powerful budget burn deck for modern ^^

I think this is tough ... at least for vampires since vampires is an aggressive tribe.

But I have some ideas. 3 to be exact ;)

I just post some decklists here ^^

Hey Skidmark42  :)

So you want to play vampire aggro?

It is important for an aggro deck to play a lot of small creatures. And also play good/important cards 4x in the deck. You have some cards in your deck which doesn't fit in your strategy.

Blessed Reversal, Long Road Home and Revitalize are bad in your deck... you should cut them.

Also you have too many different creatures with high converted mana costs. You should cut Bloodlord of Vaasgoth, Sanctum Seeker and Call to the Feast.

the best 4 mana vampire in my opinion is vampire nocturnus. This one should be your finisher in the deck.

Also cut Anguished Unmaking... it is okay but you want to play a creature on turn 3. Same for settle the wreckage. It is a sideboard card.

You also play to much creatures with converted mana cost 3. You have to play on a better curve.

So let's start the build. You should play around 25-30 creatures.

Creatures:
4 Vampire Lacerator
4 Vicious Conquistador
1 Guul Draz Vampire
4 Legion Lieutenant
4 Dusk Legion Zealot
3 Gifted Aetherborn
4 Captivating Vampire
2 Drana, Liberator of Malakir
4 Vampire Nocturnus

Other Spells:
4 fatal push
3 inquisition of kozilek
2 Zealous Persecution

Lands:
21 Lands

.. 16 lands are not enough ...

Squadron Hawk is pretty good in Martyr Proc

Maybe ... if you are interested in playing pauper ... you can surely find some budget friendly competetive decks around discard :D

I think your deck is only effective in casual ???

There are discard decks in competetive formats like modern. But these are not budget friendly. These decks play cards like Liliana of the Veil, Collective Brutality, Thoughtseize ...

Since it is a casual deck what about playing a deck around liliana's caress and megrim?

I think the deck idea is pretty nice. What about a BG or BW build with Winding Constrictor or Dromoka's Command or even GWB with anafenza, the foremost?

There are a lot of other nice cards like avatar of the resolute, Scavenging Ooze, nissa voice of zendikar or rishkar peema renegade which could fit pretty well.

Also Walking Ballista + Hangarback Walker + Arcbound Ravager can be pretty good maybe.

Especially Walking Ballista is extremly flexible.

The problem is that managorger Hydra can't deal with larger threats like Tarmogoyf and delve creatures good enough because it's too slow. I would try to play more aggro also because managorger hydra gives your opponent a lot of opportunities to deal with it like Path to exile or fatal push.
