Updated to my current list! Lots of great tools for the deck released in the last year. Over time this turned into a super fun extra combat deck that draws more cards than I know what to do with.  There are tons of good budget alternatives in the Maybe Board that I used to run before I decided I loved the deck so much. It still slaps and surprises everyone without all the fancy expensive cards and could easily be built on a reasonable budget with a high power level.

Deck Comments / Re: Nethroi, High Power - Comments

My first take on Nethroi, Apex of Death. Wanted to abuse the mutate mechanic, but I don't like bad magic cards.  Deck is obviously improved with dual lands and more tutors, but I do not own those cards.

Goal:
-Ramp up quick to get your graveyard engine cruising.
-Protect your board state with Nethroi. Abuse his ability to bring back high value creatures with low power. 0 power creatures with an upside are insanely valuable.
-Combo out with some version of a karmic guide/reveillark line, of which there are many.
-Back up plan is Adnauseam and angel's grace.
-Back up to the back up plan is just good old value town and recurring removal.
-Save instant speed removal for graveyard hate at any cost outside of losing.

Revision 7

-1 Kodama's Reach
-1 Path to Exile
-1 Regrowth
-1 Vampiric Tutor
-1 Wild Growth
+1 Carpet of Flowers
+1 Faeburrow Elder
+1 Gaea's Cradle
+1 Wall of Roots

Changed amounts:
-2 Forest
