Flex slots to be addressed:

1. Don't think i need claim//fame and hydroform in sideboard, they serve the same purpose and frankly hydroform is usually better. Claim//fame can probably make room for something else.

2. Mind Grind was in the board to get around locks involving redundant leyline and witchbane orb effects. It also gave fringe win cons if Ascendancy was Surgically extracted, though obviously this is not the best win con in that case. I've only used it maybe twice, unless there is a surge in leyline/orb play this is probably uneccessary, especially given the fact we can wear//tear single copies of these permanents.

3. 2 mana spells of concern: Ideas Unbound, Manamorphose, Nagging Thoughts. I find often I'm trying to go off and just want 1 CMC cantrips and find these in hand. Each definitely serves a purpose; Nagging Thoughts and Ideas usually put me over the top if i manage to cast them and manamorphose helps me get through blood moons and compensates when i've drawn a basic forest and need to play an ascendancy. I've cut Nagging thoughts by one and MM by one already to increase abundant growths, I'm trying to decide if I need to cut one more. MM gives me the least utility, so i think it'd be the cut. If I make room for another cerulean wisps, a + mana spell, does it make these more viable and make the struggle less to play the 2 cmc spells?

4. Basic Forest main deck. I think this is a necessary evil, but the number of times I have it and it restricts me from playing either an ascendancy or a cantrip after ascendancy resolves is not zero. Increasing abundant growth has helped somewhat, and I think I need it to play mana dorks through blood moon. we definitely need at least 2 basics with all the Paths/ghost quarters/fields of ruin in the format, but should it be a plains instead? I still think the forest is a necessary evil, but I also think it needs considering.

5. Thinking about adding a meddling mage, maelstrom pulse or slaughter games to the board. Wishable answers to a lot of cards, slaughter games can hose some of the prevalent decks in the format all by itself right now. I don't know how often I would actually prefer it to just grabbing ascendancy and likely winning, so it probably doesn't make it in, but pulse and meddling mage are still up for thought.

What we need:
1. Currently struggle against taxes. Thalia is a pain, and this matchup is just awful. How do we deal with her?

2. Burn is a really tough, though not unwinnable matchup. It is hard to beat above average pilots, and eidolon gets the below average pilots there against us more often than we'd like. Sylvan caryatid is very important to win here. My instinct has been to silence out silences and noxious revival, often an ideas unbound and manamorphose as well, and bring in interactive abrupt decays and Leylines of sanctity to stretch their D Revelry's thin and take away some of their reach. We often need silence to protect against deflecting palm however, and it's been useful on lots of occassions when 2 rift bolts are suspended. Really don't know what to do in this matchup. Thought about worship, lightning helix, kor firewalker and forge tender. the problem is i can't wish for any of these other than helix, so i'd have to play 3/4 copies to make them findable, which greatly reduces our critical mass of cantrips for combo. Thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

3. Tron is no longer a concern. We are actually much better against the green variants, which are pretty much all we see in the format at the moment. Tighter play and improved consistency has made this matchup better, as well as the extra silence in the main.

I'd add one fetch to maximize fatality of push.
