Honestly as many as you can afford to run without sacrificing a baseline of staple lands, getting to greedy with non-basic lands is just asking to be easily removed from the game by non-basic hate. I have 15 in my tri-color deck, and that's with fetch lands, shock lands, a few utility lands, and a bunch of cycling lands. Often when someone else plays non-basic hate, the game for me goes from 4 player to essentially a 1v1 because the other two players can't cast much in the way of spells
