By no means am I claiming that the mana base is as optimal as it can be.  There are better alternatives and exotic orchid gets better or worse depending on the people you play with. If i'm playing with primarily dimir players or UBx players i'm effectively going to have a gold land that taps for colorless or one color. On the other hand playing against a 5 color deck makes the land a rockstar.   I prefer to have more control over my colors especially with all the tough Naya colored cards I have currently in the deck

What about Rhythm of the Wild?

With only 13 spells, Nikya of the Old Ways could also be an option. But you should make sure that you're able to get rid of him, if necessary.

Rhythm of the Wild is definitely in the deck. You may have missed my last update. I like Nikya, but as you mentioned i don't have a lot of ways to get rid of her so i left her out and replaced her with Overabundance.  It does work for everyone but it also deals damage to everyone. In an aggro deck that could be the difference

Don't you need other lands than forests to pay red and white spells?

This comment bot must be something new, as i didn't realize it would create this forum post. :P Please do note that the deck is still a work in progress. At some point I will update the mana base. I used the forests as a way to make sure all my lands were accounted for in my build
