Rioting Elves

Taking advantage of Rhythm of the Wild to build elves out Wide and Big! The splash red can be changed  to black but I’ll get into that when explaining the Sideboard. Cutting Wirewood lodge and Argothian makes this deck modern legal.

//Sideboard Possibilities
 The side board recommendation is changing the splash to black start by replacing bloodbraid elf with shaman of the Pack. The R/G scry land is replaced with Glint-Leaf Palace.  This Sideboard allows the deck to function the same but is better against control match ups . The side board also amps up the competitiveness of the deck by adding in more of the powerful staples of traditional elf decks to help you run down other aggro decks. The Kindred dominance is in case your board does get swept or against another aggro deck and you need to regain power of the board.

 //Why these Lands
The lands chosen were based of their utility in how well synergistically to elements of the deck. For example unexplained territory has the ability to tap for a colorless which can be fed into unknown shores for  any color. Oran-Rief, the Vastwood & Wirewood lodge can generate some insane value when used in conjunction with Argothian Elder. Your mana generation like most elf decks is going to be really reliant on your creatures making Ezuri, Renegade Leader a must to protect against sweepers. The last thing you want in a elf deck is a board wipe!

You definitely need to either to lower your cmc or add more warden of evos aisle. There are some really good early game fliers like healers hawk. I also think you could speed up the deck but cutting back on some creatures and adding in some azorius charms or other forms of card dry. It also looks like your going cheap on your mana base which is fine but it’s a little to all over the place. I would find 2 maybe 3 different dual lands and settle on a play set of those otherwise a lot of them won’t trigger and will just enter tapped anyway. Port town, Nimbus maze, and prairie stream for example can effectively trigger each other and are a budget option instead of hallowed fountain.

Esper Birds Combo

Using Arcane adaptation makes both the combo elements and the mana base of this deck much more stable. Make sure you name Birds for arcane adaptation and unclaimed territory! Essentially  you want to use your early and mid game deathtouchers to harass your opponents board while you build toward your combo.

 Arcane adaptation makes all your creatures birds, this means even if you don’t have tokens from Pride of the clouds to sacrifice you can sack any of your creatures. A cool trick you can do is block a big threat  then sack in response to blocking using seaside haven meaning you get a free block, draw a card, and put a counter on your soul catcher aerie. If your going up against a more control type deck than I wouldn’t rely on getting the combo off this way simply use the pride of the clouds tokens as sack material instead and spread out your threats to exhaust their control even if they break the combo engine.

The soulcatcher creature makes this combo even more potent as every time a bird dies aka you sacking one to seaside haven soul catchers aerie triggers and he himself triggers if he’s on the field.

The combo involves  a little bit of a complex interaction with how the blocking and damage phases are separate, the stacking of effect triggers, and a lot of alterations to creatures powers and toughness so you may want to practice with this to especially if your new to combo decks.

 The Doven’s Veto, the walls, and the Batwing Brune are for defense. Since this deck is meant for multiplayer it may draw team up hate killing if they sense the combo on the horizon.

Land Attack Deck

This deck can be made modern legal by cutting the whirlwind and jungle basin. The point of the deck is to ramp into a nissa and get her emblem out as soon as possible. Some changes can be made to the enchantments upon personal choice but remember the new nissa adds counters so if money is no matter something like doubling season would be great
