Hi memnach,

your is just an assumption, there are not useless cards in this decklist.
I suppose you are talking about main Spellskite and Relic of Progenitus.
This is a correct meta choice since the T1 decks (burn and delver) suffer a lot from these cards.
Maybe these cards are not useful in a small meta like your local shop but for a bigger event like a GP or PTQ they are great choices.

Have a nice day

Hi,

IMHO the deck lacks of removals.
I have made a cheap U/W aggro deck, maybe you can check it and pick things you think are good.

http://deckstats.net/decks/13773/75701-cheap-blue-white-heroic/en

Love hidden strings, I think it has potential in this kind of deck lists.

Maybe I could remove the ligthing strikes and the helix for 4 chained to the rocks and 2 detention shpere. Some enchantments removal in for the sideboard.
And 1 Ætherling instead of the whale.

7
I've not been thinking about it yet beacuse I have not playtested the deck.
Actually I am building a Naya Hexproof T2  and I cannot invest money in two decks.
You can find the list in my profile

'Steam Clairvoyant' Control Blue/White/Red

This deck is similar to http://deckstats.net/decks/13773/73411-aurelia-medomai-control-combo.
Basically you keep controling the battlefield until you can cast creatures to finish your opponent.

Drop 2

Disperse - Useful in case your opponend play a drop one creature and you do not have Lightining Strike. In late game it becomes useful to remand dangerous spells while waiting for a counter to deal with them or to save one of the final bi creatures.

Lightning Strike - Useful mostly to keep controlling the battlefield against creatures. It can be used to finish the opponent once Medomai and Aurelia dealt theire 17 damages in one shot.

Azorius Charm - Just in case. Return a dangerous creature or, if needed you can use it for an extra draw.

Syncopate - Useful mostly during turns 2 and 3, later you will be able to use better counters.

Drop 3

Dissolve - Big counters start here. This is an improved Cancel, use it for your opponent main cards.

Counterflux - Uncounterable counter which can work on a single spell or the entire pile. Keep it to protect your bigger drops (see creatures below).

Drop 4

Sphinx's Revelation - It speaks by itself.

Steam Augury - Use it to to dig in your deck if you run out of countermeasures.

Supreme Verdict - A bomb to drop if your opponent battlefield grow too much. Use it to clean the way for your creature before closing the match.

Warleader's Helix - A bigger shot than the previous ones. Use it to get rid of enemy creatures or planeswalkers. If needed use it to close tha match after Aurelia and Medomai attacked.

Drops 6 and 8

Aurelia, the Warleader + Medomai the Ageless - Combo to deal 26 damages in a row and obtain two extra turns.

Utvara Hellkite - Alternative closure solution. A big guy who drop other big guys.

Thoughs ?

Ho trovato una carta in sostituzione di Stymied Hopes, è Syncopate. Giocandola con 1B fa la stessa cosa di Stymied Hopes ( a parte Scry) ma è più versatile.
