Djinn fly over

Been playing arena some and wanted to know any ways to improve the deck. I love the low cost mana spells, but it really limits my removal. the deck plays around slowing down the opponent with instants while buffing up Haughty DjinnFounding the Third Path is mainly in here to help fill the graveyard and to bring back the Cut Down and Spell Pierce.

Anyone want to try and make this jank work for a combo deck in modern, I know I’m shot at making decks but even I can see potential in this don’t know turn 3 dream starting hand but maybe 4

Thanks for the advice yeah I did think sage’s row Denizen had a lot of benefits too just wondered if it was going to slow but nah you’re right if I had two out it’s quad better then altar of brood and double then altar of dementia.

Been making a sudden mill deck in modern with master of waves and the card I was think of using was sage’s row Denizen, recently two Artifact cards altar of the brood and altar of dementia.  These two cards are definitely lower mana cost with altar of brood being useful for the tokens coming in but only at one mill a card and altar of dementia being useful for sacrificing all the tokens you make which will be at 2/0 thank to master of waves giving them a +1/0.  The main benefit is being less then sage’s row Denizen, but adds more risk from half of the mill potential and forcing you to wipe your own board.  Wanted to know any thoughts if it is worth it to change it out?

Okay forgot about the whole legendary applies to even lands so with that in mind I could move it to 2-3 and added in maybe field of ruin to counter tron.  Might also get some better islands because of cards that destroy all basic lands exist.

I%u2019ll be honest I miss read didn%u2019t say please and thought it said target player instead of it%u2019s controller. You are right about leyline I thought it would be useful in the deck if everything had flash and I saw it in a bunch of master of waves decks, but with want I%u2019m wanting to do it won%u2019t accomplish much of anything. Question about Damping sphere though  wouldn%u2019t affect nykthos shrine to nyx from adding blue mana?

Mill blue

Hello I’m building this deck for a small tournament happening at the shop at the end of this month was wondering if there are things I should be preparing for in the sideboard. I think the main deck is alright maybe needs more draw power other then gaddwick and witching well.

Got the idea of the mill combo for some random video talking about master of waves and sage’s row denizen. After that I looked up decks that were using master of waves and the most common cards were gaddwick, thassa’s Oracle, and nykthos shrine to nyx
Any advice on making either combo more consistent would be much appreciated.

Added some merfolk in the sideboard so that the deck can turn more aggro if need be

Mill or hordes

Seen I couple of videos talking about the combo for master of the waves and sage’s row savant and wanted to build a deck on it but would appreciate advice if you can make it better.

Edit: I meant to put sage’s row Denizen I just filled out the thing quickly that I put sage’s row savant instead for some reason.

Ps I know of Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, but I thought nyx lotus wouldn’t break the bank as much since I already had two copies starting off.

Took out lighting bolt for hardened scales because it is better and I’ve played with this deck a couple times now.   The only thing  I would change about this deck now is wild born since early game when you are getting out creatures you might use all the mana and won’t be able to activate it’s ability.  It’s really great in mid to late game I think once I got 4 1/1 counters and another from hardened scales to end the game with it, but early game I don’t want to see it.

Revision 3

Added/removed cards:
-4 Lightning Bolt
+4 Hardened Scales

thank you for the input I knew I would have needed to taken out the hydras especially when I remembered a card like stonecoil serpent would be faster, but I totally forgot about yorvo, Lord of Garenbrig and Wildborn Preserver.   I don't think I'll go down the route with persist creatures, but that is a interesting combo I've never thought about before.
