Have you looked at Spitebellows or Ingot Chewer for the sideboard maybe as "interaction" that the harbinger can snag if necessary like against an Uro or a peaky artifact?

The Ashenmoore Lieges look sweet, what matchups are you looking to bring them in?

This list looks awesome! I really want to give it a try, have you played much in Legacy yet? I bet it catches people by surprise.

Hey, no worries on the delay, really appreciate it! I actually put together the deck myself and played my first game against a buddy's more meta mono-black deck, but you're totally right. The burn + the constant pressure from the phoenixes made all of our games really really close. He started out with thoughtseize and realized he's going to lose 2 life only to remove a shock from my hand anways.

I notice you have to win quickly or you run out of steam a little, but maybe that's just the nature of mono-red. The Chandras would probably be great for when you need to be a little grindier.

Right?? It seems cheap, but it pulls so much weight in this deck. Repeatable source of card draw/tokens with any enchantress effect out, plus it can let me punch through blockers if I have a big creature from Ancestral Mask. I'm excited to play this deck more, it has a surprisingly decent amount of interaction with being lower on the budget end, the couple lands make up half the budget.

Love this deck idea! I'm trying to get into Pioneer so I was looking for something budget but still unique.

Any thoughts on some easy upgrades if you were going to take it from the $20 range to the $50 or $100 range?

Looks pretty neat! What're the win conditions? Using 8.5 to make things unblockable?

If you're making a Mardu Samurai tribal EDH deck, I'm super interested haha. I had a terrible mono-white Samurai deck back in Kamigawa days and I looked at making a mono-white Samurai deck before realizing it was going to be garbage lol

Yeah I think that makes a big difference adding in those better ramp spells (Even though 3 visits is a few bucks on its own).

Turn 2 - Rampant Growth/Three Visits/Nature's Lore ends your turn on 3 lands (And assuming your deck is primarily green, it lets you find the mountain/swamp you need)
Turn 3 - Play your 4th land and you can Vastwood Surge or Migration Path to end your turn with 6 lands.
Turn 4 - You have 7 mana and can cast Daarigaz.

Green decks have the best ramp spells, so take advantage! It's also why the shock lands and triomes are so good, Stomping Grounds is both a Mountain and a Forest, so while Rampant  Growth can only find you a basic, Three Visits can find you a *Forest*, so you can use it to grab either a Stomping Grounds if you're lacking red mana or an Overgrown Tomb if you need black mana (sorry if you already knew that - bored at work)

You have a lot of sorceries that search for lands and put them to your hand, but those don't ramp you. Have you thought about swapping those out more for something like Rampant Growth, Three Visits, Kodama's Reach, Cultivate, Search for Tomorrow, that kind of stuff so that you can get your dragons out earlier?

Lmao thanks, I think this is a really solid list and I'm going to start making budget cuts swapping some of the really expensive lands/tutors for more reasonable options. Can't wait!
