it would definately work well. I personally use seas claim and spreading seas because in modern mana base is crucial and it messes theirs up while giving my guys a advantage.

true, i should have thought about that a little more before posting it. but i mainly built it to have a fun casual/legacy deck

thank you, i sorta just tossed it together for a friend starting out, figured the cheap counterspells would come in handy and could then just beat down, but youre right, could probably use a couple more creatures and maybe a couple less counterspells
