Looked at all the new RNA cards to juice this deck up. I viewed them through the lens of wanting to make this deck faster, and or find a better creature for my +1/+1 counter needs, like Scrounging Bandar was. I found 4 cards that I liked and thought that could fit.  Sharktocrab is the 1st creature that could make this deck. It makes counters, AND gives me a great affect. I love the idea of neutralizing his bes t creature while I wait to flip Climb, and it ends up easily a 10/10 when I make it Climb. I would try 2 in the Elf slots. Incubator Druid is the other creature that has a spot. Im not sure weather to drop a Sprite and a dryad, or 2 dryads, but the ramp on this is amazing, it means a Carnage Tyrant as early as turn 4. I would try 2 of these at first. The problem is it will be conisdered a big danger and draw removal, Sprites and especially Dryads dont always draw removal until its too late.

There are 2 spells that have a home here.
Repudiate/Replicate has 2 very powerful effects that my deck would love to use. I have limited "Climbing" creatures and this would give me a 2nd Carnage tyrant, or save myself from a problem creature ability, since I dont have much removal. Syncopate works great for me, but Essence Capture has a very valuable effect for me. I believe I have enuff counter triggers(especially if I add a 3rd Jadelight Ranger). 2 other spells that are possible, but have problems are Growth Spiral, and Titanic Brawl. I think Opt is better, but Titanic Brawl is removal that i lack.

I'd like to gie honorable mention to
Mesmerizing Benthid (hexproof, and 3 bodies)
Hydroid Krasis, prolly better then Hungering Hydra, but not faster. I'd rahter spend $ on another shockland

You could profit from Nightveil Sprite instead of Stormtamer. You already have many ways to counter opponent spells, but very little draw/filter. Dryad Greenseeker is also a great 2 drop.

I played at LGS, 3 rounds. 1-2. Played a R/G monsters with perfect curve both games. Then a polished Jeski Control, took him down to 1 and 3, but lost. I have few creatures, I am wondering if Isareth and a nother good deathtouch creautre would up my ability to stifle the board. Dire Fleet Piosoner?

Tried this last night at LGS. was winless and uncompetitive. Discarded lots of threats, but could not deal with the ones that landed. I think I would rather kill stuff that hits the board. Will keep Disinformation Campaign and Thought Erasure for now, they both have good value beyond discard. Am posting the new (imporved?) wersion rite quick.

I am trying to decide betwen a reanimation/sacrifice focus or a surveil focus. I will have a bit of both but using Isareth to bring back Demons and Dream eaters, or even smaller sacable creatures. I also don't know if 7 peices of removal are enough. If I'm gonna play balck and not have any big creatures early, then I am gonna want removal. Goin up to 4 Stormtamers is another thing I will most likely do. Esecially if I cheat towards more Isareth.

Played a Dimir Surveil today at prerelease. Went 3-0-1 with the help of some luck and alot of surveil. My deck today lacked any big creatures. Watcher in the Mist was biggest. Dream Eater and Demon of Catastrophies will be great finishers. I am leaning toward the Removal that also surveils. I am not sure about The Spybug. I would rather have the sprite i think. Lots and lots of play is needed. I got a foil Sanity baby gonti thing. I may not be a 3-4 of, but 2 sounds cool. It is card advantage.

Had 2 or 3 good nights in a row. 3-1 2-2 and 2-1-1. Greenseekers are monsters. I am slowly learning to slow down and keep mana up for Syncopate. I think that come rotation I will need to replace alot of cards. It's gonna be fun. I my very well drop creatures for more card draw or counters.

A good night. 2-1. Got beat by 2 perfect flops from a green stompy. My card filter/draw package is reallly the part of the deck that is suprising me. Opt, Rangers, Greenseekers,Nissa, and Search for Azcanta provide tons of churn and filtering. I drew 9 extra land tonight with greenseekers. Search kept me from drawing lands late in 2 games. I had wins with 20/18 Carnage Tyrant ,and 16/14.

Went 2-1 tonight. Did pretty good. Greenseeker was a werker 2night. The chance to grab lands at the end of each turn really adds up. I got a Carnage Tyrant in my Showdown Pack, Kismet. Search for Azcanta also did well, I didn't get much from my peaks, but with them and the greenseekers I spent most of the night looking at my next card.

THis version gives me 6 spells and 5 creatures to help me draw/filter/ramp which are the strengths of simic. Leaving me with 16 creatures in there to flip Climb or targets for Climb. Would it be better to have 2 copies of One with the Wind.

Deck is now fully built. there are only 2 kinds of spells in this deck. Vampires or drawing cards. I did find room for 3 Ixalan's Binding for problems that a horde of small vamps can't handle.

Bought and added Dryad Greenseeker and Search for Azcanta along with Nissa and Opt to gain more card advantage. Switching Admiral's Order for Syncopate. Trying some new things. Deck still wants to ramp into climbing big untouchable creatures. Likely to play it this version till rotation.
