Deckstats Feedback / Re: Card Database
« on: December 10, 2022, 02:15:52 pm »
Having an issue where multiple card arts won't load. This is on the chrome android version. It persists after manually changing the arts in the deck tracker, and a eems like 7 or 8 from each deck will just not show up.

Currently I am having issues copying and pasting decks in and saving decks on desktop version. I don't believe these functions are currently available. If you could point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

This may be an issue specifically on my phone but in the starting hand feature cards are significantly bigger than they were before and it makes playtesting much harder. Any way a scaling option could be implemented to make it so cards show up smaller with more fitting on the screen?

Cedh is infinitely better than casual and it teaches you how to actually convert cards in hand into resources like mana to actually play the game. All of edh is drawing cards and ramping to play spells.

You could probably just run a burn deck for super cheap. There are a lot of wall hate cards does your meta have a bunch of wall players lol. This deck looks mostly bad.

Commander Discussion / Re: Opinions on proxies?
« on: August 18, 2021, 08:10:16 pm »
I have no problem with proxies because people playing bad decks when they know the right way to build them (specifically mana base and ramp cards) is so stupid. Imagine Seth manfield and gab nassif coming to worlds and playing decks with only basic lands. Unfortunately my friend still builds bad but expensive decks. Honestly the worst thing about magic is the player base.

Heliod stax also has a combo win and it probably better than thalia as a commander

Yawgmoth is really good. You can go mostly infinite value card draw engine and he is really good against other creature decks. If you run into a lot of noncreature (especially cyclonic rift) decks it can be a little rough.

In edh run both

33 lands is a bit light. Most of the cards look good but I ran a bit more ramp in mine, so you can really capitalize on the amount you draw. I have a list on my decks if you want an idea of what I'm running.

General Magic / Re: most cost effective way to build your collection

Buying cards is a scam. Buy a bunch of bulk commons and print proxies to sleeve over them. Any other answer is going to cost hundreds and it's just a children's game.

Running too few lands. Also tron lands are bad without a ton of land tutors and reliqueury tower is usually a meme. For 3+ cmc you usually run like 35+ lands, for urza you need to hit the first 4 land drops so I would use a hypergeometric calculator and figure out the right number.

Commander Discussion / Re: Arcane Denial vs Counterspell
« on: June 20, 2021, 10:05:23 am »
Drawing an opponenet two cards sounds very bad. Counterspells are often used defensively so giving an opponenet two more looks at threats is worse than just removing their threat by a lot. The uu vs 1u is sort of relevant but in a more competitive meta arcane denial gets exponentially worse.

For the Osgir deck, you could take out two lands and put in two artifact ramp.

Slag Fiend and Embercleave too.

This player is a fricking idiot. Its a three color deck with avg cmc 3.5. Take out two higher cost spells and add ramp but don't cut lands.
