If you're running Green, I would really recommend Silverfur Partisan, to make a stupid amount of Wolf Tokens, and then give them haste with an Expedite on Zada.

If you wanted Abzan in Modern, use Allies as the base, and then just use a couple of the best Outlast abilities, like Bond-Kin and Battle Priest.
