Refining the curve and orientation of the deck. Some cards were more for an "aggro" deck while my pack takes a "toolbox, midrange" orientation.

Add in deck: Woodfall Primus, Watchful Radstag, Mana Leak, Arcane Denial, Growth Spiral, Chord of Calling, Three Visits, Nature's lore, Farseek, Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth, Arbor Elf, Rapid Hybridization

Cut: Incubation // Incongruity, Bala Ged Recovery, Utopia Sprawl, Ilysian Caryatid, Preordain, Caustic Caterpillar, Tyrranax Rex, Diluvian Primordial, Ice-Fang Coatl, Threats Undetected, Amphin Mutineer

Update:

Decree of Justice is cut for Scute Swarm

Decree of Justice is an expensive mana card in this deck.  3 for cycling + X mana for tokens... Scute Swarm requires setup but I think it has greater potential than Decree in this deck.

Update: Spark Double is cut for Amphin Mutineer

Spark Double is cool but I prefer to use Stunt Double to copy creatures from my opponents.  Spark Double requires Setup (2 turns, 1 for Volo, 1 for Spark). I added the Amphin Mutineer which will allow me to add another touch of control to the deck !

Update: Farseek cut for Cloud of Faeries

Farseek is a good ramp card but I want to try the versatility of Cloud of Faeries in the pack.  If Volo is not on the battlefield, cycling allows me to draw a card.  If Volo is on the battlefield, I advance in mana (+2).

Update:

Harmonize is cut for Welcoming Vampire.

Harmonize allows you to draw 3 cards but seems less synergistic in the pack than a creature like Welcoming Vampire.

Update : Endurance remplacing by Scavenging Ooze

Ooze is less impactful when it enters the battlefield but graveyard hate through exile seems more effective than returning it to the library.  Even though she doesn't have the Trample, she gets it on Craterhoof's ETB.  The problem with the ooze is that I have a second one in the deck but it's also a control card so it seems less of a problem to me.

I did not put the Froghemoth in the deck because it is a frog and horror which therefore requires me to replace the Poison Dart Frog (Ornithopter of Paradise is possible) but above all the Hullbreaker Horror would become the second horror of the deck...

Next Update : Gemrazer remplacing by Rampaging Yao Guai

Rampaging Yao Guai is much stronger than the Gemrazer. For a cast at X=0 it can destroy all artifacts and enchantments at 0 mana value (mana crypt, mox, lotus, treasures, clues, bloods, golds, shrines etc...). With Volo on the battlefield, if the X is paid the copy also takes the value of X and gains even more power.

The main flaw of the razer is that it needs Volo on the battlefield in addition to another valid target (non-human) to be able to mutate and attempt to destroy two enchantments or artifacts. If the target is managed in response to the razer cast, the card no longer does anything interesting...

Salut, je suis moi même un joueur de Volo et je me permet de te signaler que Adrix et Nev ne fonctionnent pas avec Volo. Volo copie le sort de créature (qui devient un token) mais ne crée pas de token proprement dit. Cependant une carte qui fonctionne mais qui demande un peu de mana c'est Errant, Street Artist de new capenna qui te permet de copier la copie du sort faite par Volo. Amuse toi bien en tout cas, j'adore ce général !
