Last Commander Match we had ended in a 1 vs 1 wher I was playing Krenko Goblin Bullshit and my Friend a Windgrace/Landfall deck.

The situation ended with me having Goblin Assassin on the Board, preventing him any creatures and him having glacial chas, saving him from all damage.

After a few rounds we figured that it would come down to whoever draws the winning card first and after another few rounds we called it a draw.

The site will NOT automatically generate or do anything for you. But if you learn to use the filter and search function, it will help you finding interesting cards that might match your deck plan and then just drag/drop them to where you want them.

My personal reason to use deckstats above other sites is the fast search (no loading time) and the simple design (no fancy visualisation that just distracts from doing clean work)



A: Open the collection and in top right it tells you to build a deck from collection or use the wizard to find public decks that you can build with it (in case there are any).

B: Start creating a deck with the creator and on the left side above the cards you can select the collection. now the left side (filter/search) will only result your collected cards.

C: Open a Deck and click "display" > "compare to collection" and chose which collection you want to check for cards. then "display" > "group by collection status" and it will show which cards you already own.

Since I ordered them all I decided to simply wait and don't try to spoiler myself too much. Will enjoy looking through each deck while sleeving.
However I plan to keep the Decks as Precons. Since they are all themed LotR I dont feel an upgrade or taking them apart would be justice.

In case I'll use one deck or commander as base for a new deck, I'll just build it and order the singles.

I only recently got the tyranid precon because I fell in love with lucea kane but after upgrading I realized that in the End I removed half the precon and didnt save any money lol.

Sorry, this might be stupid, but how do I find out which cards of a Deck are in my collection?

Imagine I pasted or copied a Deck. On the Side it says like "Collection: 12 Cards (12%)"  -  Now when I click that, it will show me a list of Cards that I do not own. But how do I find out which 12 cards I can grab right now?

When creating the tokens it shows the source card names.  If those were able to mouse over for the card images then it would be much more easy to decide how many one would need, depending on the what the cards do.

I removed lightning greaves from a lot of decks that don't really need the haste for a commander's tap ability. 

The shroud as protection is useless when I need to target my creatures. And in a world of mass destruction there are better protections to put in that spot.

I'd add myriad landscape. Not the best ramp but can go in every deck, fix a color eventually, takes 2 lands out of your lib and lands are usually not removed.

Attach the Rocks to Toggo, then use the Treasure to sacrifice them, which Kediss will see as "Toggo" doing the damage, so he will trigger too and make sure that EACH opponent takes the same hit. Get lots of rocks on Toggo, use treasure to sacrifice them, then Kediss will make Toggo do 2 damage to each opponent for each Rock sacrificed. Make sense?

Kediss only triggers on [combat damage]. Rocks dealing [damage] is not combat damage and won't trigger kediss. Combat damage is only dealt during combat.
Also only combat damage is counted towards the commander damage :(

However I made a version of your deck with Dargo, the Shipwrecker as second commander and put Toggo as creature in the deck.

The treasure and rock token can help cast Dargo very quickly and he does actually do combat damage. Two Treasures and 1 Red are enough to cast Dargo in turn 3 or 4 already.

Added some haste and buffs for him and yesss it works <3

I suggest Talrand for "non creature spells"-sections.   

He is mono blue so you just pack it with a lot of cheap spells (counterspell, card draw) and create tons of 2/2 drakes!  Since drakes are many and flying you can add stuff that triggers on "deals damage to an oponent" (spells with cipher for example).

You could have a look at my girlfriends dino deck. 

It's on a similar price level (as shown on deckstats) but focussed more around gishats stuff with some nasty enrage added.

Here some cards that I would suggest:
Akroma's MemorialBoros Charm, Command Beacon, Domri, Anarch of Bolas, Explore, Majestic Heliopterus, Samut, the TestedSunhome, Fortress of the LegionUnnatural Growth, Wakening Sun's Avatar, Zacama, Primal Calamity


You notice most of them give flying, double strike, double damage or let you cast or attack with your commander for more dinos.

Hi,
I randomly found your deck and think it looks interesting.  Now looking at it I see a lot of treasure tokens but I dont understand why?
 Toggo is cool but he needs a lot of land drop.  And Kediss is obvious but he is missing a partner that actually does Combat damage.  Is there something that I don't see?

Just let me say that this is ment as fun deck that might not work 100% and that's fine. There is always some chance someone has something right before you trigger your win, even on accident.

But unlike a turn-1-win-cEDH-deck its affordable, only like 6 cards and probably just right for a single time played in a group without leaving permanent damage :)

I mean, if an opponent lets Kaho's ETB ability resolve, you grab the 3 instants and then the opponent kills it, the odds of doing anything the rest of the match (let alone winning) are abysmal.

You don't exile 3 Cards in the first place.

Using Kaho to start the play is more of a backup. If you do, exile mystical tutor, play and get muddle the mixture, transmute for mana severance, play mana severance and draw the rest.
Since Kaho plays in turn 3 or 4, you might have just luck with noone removing kaho that round in a casual commander game, others might look more dangerous to each other than you with a sad face after 5 mulligans and nothing but basic lands on the board. So even if he gets removed you might still be alive and be able to cast him a second or even third time before you actually die (or be lucky to draw something else until then).


However the better play is to draw one of the cards.  You can use all mulligans (eventually extra ones depending on your group) to find mana severance or one of the cards to get it or at least counterspell to protect kaho if you have to use him. or temple of the false god to go kaho in round 3 hoping others are busy with themselves.  If you get mana severance before playing kaho, you can still cast kaho to exile instants you dont need anymore and dont want to draw after playing mana severance (and as blocker).

how do you plan on getting lab man consistently
Depending on how it turns out it will either be in your hand or be the last or second last card in your library. That kinda makes it a 100% chance to get it before you need it =)


Hey everyone, just 2 questions :)
1. from my understanding you can't get lab man with transmuted muddle the mixtures, can you? it says cmc so t-oracle would be the logic option since she cost 2, right?
2. how about gush? in combination with t-oracle, putting thassa on the stack and you holding prio, float 2 blue activate gush for the alt cost, if someone interacts you floated the 2 blue , so you Counterspell.

1. Yes. Use M-Tutor to get muddle the mixture then get mana severence then exile all lands you dont need. if you only have 3 cards in the library you wont need a tutor to find laboratory maniac =)
2. gush is a good idea.
