Deck Reviews / Standard- Ensoulthopter Counterburn--Tinkering suggestions?

Looking to get some advice on a Counterburn build for Standard. Any thoughts. I am tinkering at the moment.

I think the build is fairly solid.

I haven't checked user ability. But from what I can tell, you can just copy/paste the decklist itself into your Decks. Just make a Sub folder name it "Imported decks" or something.

--Under "Deck tools" while viewing the deck you like select Copy Deck
--Go into Deckbuilder and switch it to the Normal Deck editor
--Paste the list into the space
--Title and save it as needed into the Imported sub folder you create.

For me. As I have been playing a while and I know the cost of a "budget" deck that meets my Budget.

I have seen "Budget builds" range from $30+ depending on the format.


For Standard. I budget $100 for a deck.

For vintage I budget $200-400. As any Vintage deck that is a "budget" deck is over $100 easy.

I built a fairly good RG beats Vintage deck for a few hundred dollars. BUT I don't think this can happen nowadays. This was back in 09'



IMO,

When on a budget. Save to spend $50 or more.

Howl of the Horde --> Shrapnel Blast 10dmg to face or 15 if I do it 2nd main phase..

That Spite of Mogis is nice though! Gotta think what to switch out.

And I am on the fence about 4 more red mana or Citadel to boost Shrapnel. Tap sac it if need be to feed shrapnel turn 2

Thoughts?

Using Mono Red Burn as the base. And focusing in on Fast damage, creature denial and artifact support burn.

Jeering Instigator & Spite of mogis for all you tough guys.

Shrapnel blast playset with 11 artifact in deck.

Stoke the flames with ornithopter and Phyrexian revoker

Titan's strength on a creature taken control by Jeering Instigator or on ornithopter

Phyrexian revoker for obvious reasons

-----I am making an attempt to get back into MTG after 6 years. Lost all my cards and can only now reinvest. Was originally in Vintage. Always like the Mono Red or RG beats styles. Figured I would try my hand in Standard.

I ran Shattering Spree main deck at the time But this is almost an Identical Burninator I used a few years back, obviously new cards have come out like Skullcrack. Been searching for a similar list since i lost my build

--> As for Eidolon of the great revel over Hellspark Elemental , I disagree. A 3/1 Two drop trample haste that unearths is outstanding IMO My reasoning is that creature target or bounce can destroy Eidolon but Hellspark dies end of turn any ways and it unearths. So it is more reliabe and the other player has to keep that ability in mind while in the graveyard.
