remember that if you cast apex with wildfire eternal, you get the mana in your combat step, so you can only use it to fire off instants

Hey there!

Looks fun! Draining the opponent is the best :P but how often will you get to 5+ life gained to cast her for 3 mana? Or is casting her for cheapo not part of your plan? And will you always have 5 life to pay to beef up Licia?


Excuse my shameless self-advertisement, but please check out my Licia EDH if you would like to compare :) It has been a blast to play, though it starts out ridiculously slow and requires a lot of black mana.

Licia as commander! Finally a lifegain commander who can spend some life. See if we can bounce our life total all over the place, and abuse doing so by casting Licia for cheap, and sucking our opponents dry with sanguine bond-like shenanigans.

Please note I did not invest any time in the land base. Seems a waste of time.

Hey BrosmanJ, Excuse me for the lack of attention for lands. I can never quite be bothered to add those. Perhaps it is a flaw in my perception but I find the exact lands to be used in EDH rather unimportant. Kick in a bunch of guildgates and tarkir lands, some utility and a few basics, you're ready to go. Nobody needs me to put those on internet. I put the list on as much for my benefit, deckbuilding, as anothers so they can see what cards I think build well together. The lands are rarely included in this process. If there are lands I think work especially well in this deck, I add those.

summoning sickness doesn't disturb this trick because the actual 'tap' symbol isn't there. Just compare it to crewing a vehicle, you can do that the turn you have any creature enter play as well, since the 'tap' symbol isn't there. Kill 'em!

Rite of Replication voor als je Omnath, Locus of Rage in het veld hebt ^^? Da’s een mooie interactie man. 6 Omnaths zien 5 omnaths dood gaan, dus je mag 30 x 3 = 90 schade schieten :D Absoluut niet genoeg reden om die kaart te spelen, maar hij is pretty much altijd goed ^^

Staff of nin is niet nodig in zwart-blauw, je hebt alle card draw tot je beschikking die je maar kunt willen. Nin is voor damage decks of rode/witte decks
Relic of the brood is meh
Ik snap Crypt Ghast niet zo goed voor dit deck
Zelfde voor Notion Thief


Slim dat je meerdere g/y removal units spelt
Wat dacht je van Tidal Force? Vet coole kaart en maakt het deck wat geiniger in multiplayer
Retreat to Coralhelm is misschien wel geinig, of Deveiver Exarch
