There was a typo on the first version I've submitted... I changed Spineless Thug for Splatter Thug.

You first must understand that I'm talking about a STANDARD deck. T2. I can only use cards that are from the Innistrad Block, Magic 2013 and forth.

For a low priced deck, all creatures are cost-efficient. They put pressure. The deck just lacks some big finisher, but I can't afford Olivia Voldaren or FalkenRath Aristocrat, as well as Thundermaw Hellkite. Hellhole Flailer does a decent job, though.

There's no shock in the standard metagame atm. I use Pillar of Flame instead (which is MUUUUUUUUUUUUCH better). Gets rid of annoying undying creatures and such.

The deck relies on a somewhat decent curve of threats:

Gore-House Chainwalker (efficient creature, 3 power for 2 mana)
Spike Jester (efficient creature, 3 power for 2 mana, has haste)
Thrill-Kill Assassin (he's a defensive two-drop. I will often not unleash this given the circumstances)

Splatter Thug (First Strike does matter at the current meta - see Boros Reckoner)
HellHole Flailer (efficient cost , has reach)

4cc
Bloodfray giant (efficient-costed)

I suggest adding Conjurer's Closet to the deck to improve consistency, plus it makes a nice combo with acidic slime.
