Channel the Suns could be a pretty useful way to get the mana you need, too.

I know the costs are expensive, but that's why I have the Elvish Mystic and Llawanor Elves ramp. Also, I think cards like Hornet Nest are strong enough to hold anything off until I can get that mana.

Thanks for the suggestion. I do like the card very much, but I don't have the budget for it right now. I'll probably buy a couple later in time, though.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone,
I took out one of each of the buffing creatures to put in more mana ramp (Herald of Kozilek, Eldrazi Skyspawner, Incubator Drone)
