Thanks, i'll try and change it up. I can see your point and it makes sense. Also i have a Amonkhet invocation - Vindicate, Am i right in thinking this card isn't legal in standard?

First real try at a FNM deck. B/W zombies

I just want to see how effective the Zombies are. I've been playing over a year but only at home never at FNM, i want to try standard, But never had a deck. I've built this with the cards i have and i'll see how it does. Suggestions and comments welcomed. I'm all for learning from my mistakes.

The idea is to have as many Zombies as i can and pump them up until i can attack as a horde and do some damage.

That wasn't too long lol.

Yeah I'd be very interested in that list, Thanks!. I managed to play my deck against my Friends very frustrating http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Deadly%20Recluse deck and I found I was Mana light, so I bumped it up to 21.

The deck became quite effective as I was lucky to play a http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Drogskol+Cavalry and I was able to tap 4 and gain 2 life and a 1/1 spirit almost every turn for a while. It was a fun game and exactly the kind of game I started this for. I've watched a lot of videos of people playing and ending the game after 3 or 4 turns doesn't appeal to me at all. I want to enjoy it. I'm not going to spend a ton of money to end a game so quickly.

I'd go to my local game shop and play there and learn, but unfortunately the man who runs it isn't overly welcoming or approachable :(

But... I shall continue to buy cards and build decks, I'm going to attempt a 2 colour next maybe a White/Blue? purely because I got a http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Jace%2C%20Unraveler%20of%20Secrets recently in a booster and I want to use him :P

Most (if not all) of these cards don't see a ton of play in constructed, so you can probably just ask people at your local game store for them for free. It looks like a great first draft of something really good. I would look to add another color if you can, maybe blue if you want to stick with spirits. By the way, Magic: 2015 rotated out a while ago, and I would try to find stuff aside from the welcome deck cards if you can get them. Most people aren't sure about the legality of them, but they should be fine if you are just playing with your friends. Good luck with this deck! I'll be checking back later to see the changes. I want decks like this (fun ones) to be played more, but in this competetive world of Magic, it can be hard. Hope you get to surprise some opponents with some fliers! As for suggestions as to what to get, Rattlechains is cheap and good, as is more Drogskol Cavalry s. I you want to stick with life gain, try out something like Nearheath Captain and more Tenacity s.

Hey, thanks for the reply interesting things to think about. :)
I'm still very new, I'm learning as I go and I made my 2 decks from cards I got from just buying boosters and a few cards my friend gave me. He started playing in 2014 but stopped in2015 and he's just getting back into it himself.

I've only played about 15 games against decks my friend has and his are much stronger than mine. my thought with this deck is: I die too quickly. so cards focused around gaining life and staying in the game long enough to get my stronger cards out was key.

I have bought 2 intro decks, a green/blue and a white/red. The green/blue is all focused on investigating and my friend and me both don't know what that does so I lose everytime with that deck. The White/Red is quite aggressive and not my style.

I also bought duel decks, Blessed vs Cursed. when we use these its usually a balanced match.

I know I'm still new and I have a lot to learn and a lot more cards to buy, but I'm enjoying it and I want to play for fun and be social not to be super competitive.

Also I haven't a clue about Rotation's I know that it means cards go out and cant be used (so you buy more).. but I don't know what the cycle is.

Sorry this is very long winded you are probably the second person ive spoken to about this game since I started, lol

:)

Thanks for the comment, I may have misread your meaning, but if I'm reading it right... I only have so many single cards due to lack of cards. I'm a new player and my collections quite limited at the moment. Also I've built an entire 2 decks in the time I've been learning (1 month :P )
