Felidar Retreat can land as early as turn three with Utopia Sprawl and still give value when it lands if we have Enchantress Presence by drawing cards. Not to mention Sythis, Generous Visitor, etc. The ability to keep creating threats when we drop a land is very helpful, especially against control since the landfall is uncounterable. This card, while the upper top end of the curve, still feeds our aggro strategy while giving us long term value and preventing us from having any dead draws for a grindy match.

After watching Nikachu play this deck in Selesnya, I noticed a few things. For starters, decided to cut down to single lips of any color so we can fetch basics for Blood Moon. Also added Hardened Scales as we make so many counters. Finally, added Utopia Sprawl for extra mana fixing, low cost Cantrip, and to help with those early Felidar Retreats, Enchantress Presence, etc.

Revision 3

Added/removed cards:
-3 History of Benalia
-4 Snow-Covered Island
-3 Sylvan Anthem
+3 Felidar Retreat
+3 Hardened Scales
+3 Snow-Covered Plains
+4 Utopia Sprawl

Changed amounts:
-2 Kami of Transience
-1 Rhythm of the Wild

I haven’t tested this quite yet, I’ve been playing a pretty aggressive Selesnya Enchantress build in Standard which was an extension of the best cards from my best seven win draft decks. Selesnya Enchantress has been so good as an aggressive deck for me in Standard, I thought it could be rather strong in Modern so I put my ideas to paper. Waiting for the cards to come in so I can take it to an FNM.
