I don't really care about WtC decision since that those cards are their products and they can do whatever they want with their image. I just hope deckstats and other sites decide to not censor or remove those cards from their databases. That would be fucked up, just leave the company in charge feel good about pushing their current political agenda.
I think  the major part of the playerbase won't be affected by those bans since most of us play casually following the group rules, be it EDH, modern, cube or casual.

I missread Emry, Lurker of the Loch thinking I could cast the artifact I choose from the graveyard as many times I wanted.
Turns out you can only do it once :c
Too bad I was ready to OTK my opponent the turn I could tap Emry, Lurker of the Loch by having Firebrand Archer on the field. Atog would be the emergency sac outlet in case I didn't have any artifact capable to sacrifice itself (Mishra bauble or Mox Opal).
Grinding station as a secondary wincondition and to help me put artifacts in the GY obviously.
But why explain all of this if this doesn't work.

Maybe one or 2 more removall spells won't hurt, try Bone Splinters or Doom Blade. Necrogenesis if you want more fuel, Mycoloth is a great token maker, but can be a bit expensive for your tastes.

If you really want to win with Abhorent Overlord you better make this deck a bicolor or just monoblack to have more devotion to black than ever.
I can see that this is a casual deck for playing with your friends and I dont know if you are interested in buying single cards,but try to add permanets (creatures and enchantment) that require a lot of black mana like Black Knight, Despoiler of Souls or Gatekeeper of malakir to get 1+1 devotion at once.

118.4. If a cost or effect allows a player to pay an amount of life greater than 0, the player may do so only if his or her life total is greater than or equal to the amount of the payment. If a player pays life, the payment is subtracted from his or her life total; in other words, the player loses that much life. (Players can always pay 0 life.)

I'm sorry to inform you that you can't pay more than your life toal, thus you will never go to -30 by yourself
