I really like the ideas going on here but I think there's a bit of confusion with the game plan. Opt for example is a slow card and this is a very aggressive deck so while the fixing and card draw is nice ultimately the deck doesn't have time to cast something like opt and would rather just have another cheap threat or efficient interaction of some kind. Replacing it with something like Wee Dragonaughts or Maximize Altitude / Maximum Velocity seems like a more streamlined plan. I really like the spell pierce idea as well but I would move it to the sideboard and add more copies and replace it in the main deck with an extra land if you take out Opt.

Hope this helps! :)

Thank you! From my testing so far it's been a pretty smooth deck and has enough draw fixing that variance doesn't seem to be an issue. I've actually been with the Supreme Will camp for a bit but I've found that with at least 24 Pirates Lookout's Dispersal is basically a 2CMC spell and it makes a world of difference in a tempo deck, even though the potential Impulse hurts the deck quite a bit.

As far as the lands are concerned, the only reason I don't have any of the deserts or Field of Ruin is because of the checklands' untapped requirement and none of the deserts or Field of Ruin (or Crypt of the Eternals but again on mana investment I don't think this land is good in this deck as it's too expensive) count as an Island, Swamp, or Mountain so the deserts end up hurting the speed of the deck.

I think Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh is interesting as well but again way too expensive.

Let me know if you have any success with the changes you suggested though, I'm gonna keep testing them myself. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hey, this deck looks super sweet but I'm not sure if Always Watching would be the best in a tokens build, as it specifies nontoken creatures, not sure if you noticed. Hope this helps!
