Deck Reviews / Re: [Standard] Mono Green Monument

Hey man, I've been meaning to do a mono green stompy in STD and your list gave me ideas. I wanted to use Rhona's Last Stand initially but it's not really great with the monument as we tap out by turn 4. What do you think about the list? Biggest problem for me would be the lifelink deathtouch dude for BB so I wanted to main the Skysov but I just can't.

JUNDney to Eternity featuring Lili, Death's Majesty

Dump big creatures through explore and reanimate them through Journey to Eternity and Liliana, Death's Majesty. Creatures that can sacrifice themselves are also of value with Banewhip Punisher and Thrashing Brontodon as they can flip Journey to Eternity easier. We don't have much draw spell for our colors that's why looting through Cathartic Reunion would be vital. The ETB of Combustible Gearhulk could also be trivial to our opponents - they can let us draw 3 cards (value for days) or they could let us discard it, possibly hitting high CMC spells in Razaketh, Carnage Tyrant and Ghalta. This is a win-win situation for us as we can return these creatures back to the battlefield at ease due to the nature of our deck. On situations where the opponent let us draw 3 cards, we still have ways to dump creatures through Tomb Robber or we can just hard cast them since we have a package of 24 lands with 9 creatures capable of Explore. Removal package is standard, Fatal Push, Bontu's Last Reckoning if things go awry and Hour of Glory over Vraska's Contempt as I find it hard to cast a double black as early as turn 4.

Of course this deck is open for any changes and ideas. Let me know what you guys think.

Jund Answer

A reactive version of Jund Energy.

Feel free to criticize, I feel like this deck is still needs polishing. Win rate is well above .500 on FNMs but we don't settle for second or third place.
